Clearing Density Embracing Destiny

Cosmic Light Drops

Clearing Density is very Loud for me right now.. We have so much happening, the cosmic blueprinting is enormous and intense and potent. We are full of potential, for creation, for transformation. This is where the density comes in I suppose, for in order to embody more light the dense parts of our being need to be shifted. 

Question: Can we transform even the way we view matter? Our physical bodies? What if we let go of the belief that we are solid?

Something I spoke about in the  “What the Hell are Light Codes Anyways” Masterclass, has come in to be shared again. About, wow, 20 years ago now I was having a psychedelic adventure with Mike and some friends. We decided to take a bit of LSD and journey through the entirety of Golden Gate Park with the aim of arriving at Ocean Beach in time for the Sunset. As I’m sure you can imagine this was quite an epic journey, with many stories for other times. The story takes us to Sunset at the Ocean, yes we made it almost exactly at sunset. Gazing at the sun sinking into the Pacific, the light penetrating every aspect of my being I instantly knew and understood completely that I was not solid. I could see all the connection points, feel the atoms and subatomic particles bouncing off one another. At this same instant I also became worried that the moment the sun said farewell for the day I would cease to exist in mattered form. That somehow having remembered the truth, I had forfeit the collective agreement made when coming down to this plane. That we would believe ourselves to be solid. Now of course I didn’t dematerialize, the magnetic force and divine will that holds our bodies together did not release me for remembering.

I never forgot that experience, though often I would forget that I had remembered, or more precisely, I often forgot that what I experienced is actually a deep truth. 

As I move through this field of density I can feel Saturn, Lord of Karma, Father Time. Saturn loves structure, density and structure can feel very similar to me. We’ve talked a lot about Saturn these past weeks, he’s been a heavy hitter in our skies for a couple years now, we've had the long running square dance with Uranus, which was really loud last year and is still running (it’ll actually come nearly exact for the last time, in this cycle, as we begin our next eclipse season in October). He’s also danced with Jupiter, remember that exact conjunction back on the 2020 Winter Solstice? As Jupiter moves into Aries this week all three of them are partying together. With Jupiter moving into a semisextile to Uranus and Semi-Square to Saturn (this gets really loud in a couple months, but with such big planets and so much happening with them all right now I can sure feel it). I’m actually kinda surprised we went into these aspects, there is a much louder and tighter dynamic as Saturn is in an almost exact square with this weekend's Total Supermoon Eclipse. Sometimes we have to go out to get in.  We’ve talked quite a bit about Saturn’s ongoing dance with the nodes this year. How this Square dance flows together with the trine between Saturn and Arctrus. Things feel a bit different with this Moon though, and I see that Sedna is in a very close conjunction with the Sun, opposite the Moon. Oh yeah, we haven’t really spoken of Senda before have we, she just came in and said it's my time now, see me, hear me, feel me.. So who is Sedna? In Mythology she is the Iniut Goddess of the Sea and Underworld. Her mythology actually has a lot of parallels to the Persephone-Hades story. Before she was a Goddess she was a daughter, who was maybe raped, maybe she had consensual sex, whichever the case, she became pregnant by a dog disquged as a man (which, hello Sirius the dog star). Her father was ashamed and fearful of how this child might look and sent or physically took her to a remote island in the middle of the sea.  There are many versions of her story and it goes on from there as she gives birth to many children, is cared for by this Dog-Man in some tellings he transforms into a bird to bring her food. I can feel a desire to tell her whole story in great detail but know that isn’t what serves, we can fast forward a bit, eventually her father comes back to “rescue her” only to then throw her into the sea to save himself. This is where she becomes Sedna, no longer daughter of man but Goddess of the Sea and ruler of the fates of man. What is actually really loud is something going on here in the US right now that feels very tied to her dancing with this eclipse.  At the time of this writing we have many people working very hard to control women’s bodies and the decision of when and how to become a mother. This feels so fucking tied together.

Before jumping down this rabbit hole I can feel some of the other aspects of this Eclipse wanting to share the floor with Senda. First let’s go into the eclipse itself, This is a BIG eclipse, during a supermoon, it is a total full moon eclipse meaning the entirety of the moon will become shadowed. The moon is in Scorpio, the Sun in Taurus, I can feel the energy of the shadow moving across the moon, as La Luna is plunged into the underworld, all form and structure is lost. Her light however, like Sedna cannot be extinguished and she will re-emerge from the shadow into transcendence. With La Luna on the South Node and the Sun and Sedna on the North there is an interesting dynamic: the hurts, wounds, secrets of our past coming under scrutiny being cast into the place of judgment. How will we fair? Can we emerge from our collective shadow period and shine brightly once again? 

Interesting that this light drop began with density and structure, and brought us into the realms of judgment. Let’s take a moment here and feel into the wielding of control, this is something Saturn is also known for. Saturn in his role of domineering father. It is Sedna’s father who takes her out into the ocean for fear of what she might birth, then when his effort to “save her” threatens his own life he throws her back into the sea. Can you feel how similar this is to the current “father figures” in the government and the way in which they are seeking to control the literal ways we birth.

I keep hearing Matthew McConaughey in Dazed and Confused saying:

“If it ain't that piece of paper, there's some other choice they're gonna try and make for you.”  

Now we could get lost in the shadow of this, in those places where the collapse of the world and the ever louder power grabs of those in “control” are scary and painful, but it feels like we are being shown a path, a way to harness the Sedna that exists within us. To remember that they can only control us if we let them, instead we could rise up and become the controllers of our own fate, we can transcend this density.

The door opens and in walks Eris, unsurprisingly she’s involved with this eclipse too. Semi-Sextile the Sun and Sedna, Inconjunct the Moon, and of course still very much Sqaure Dancing with Pluto. However in an interesting turn, she is in an almost exact sextile to Saturn. Let’s feel this for a moment. A semi-sextile is a point of friction, inconjunct is, as it sounds, a complete inability to relate and a sextile is a point of harmony. Could the Goddess of Chaos and Discord be pointing to the disharmony created when we give our power away? Saying look at the disconnection you’ve created, there's a better way, let me show you.  Of course not without a bit of revolutionary chaotic creation. What does being in harmony with Eris feel like to you? 

This brings me nicely into Aries energy, we have a lot of Cardinal Fire coming in right now. As of the eclipse we will have Jupiter, Venus, Eris, Kali, and Chiron in Aries by the end of the month Mars will join to help host the party in his old home place. Aries is the energy of beginnings, of the new. The first sign of the western zodiac, beginning as the Northern Hemisphere celebrates the first day of spring. It's been twelve years since the expansive energy of Jupiter explored this territory, a fun meditation this week could be to look at what you had going on during the end of 2010 and beginning of 2011. I did this myself and it was quite funny. During this window, I finally left the soul-sucking job I had been sleepwalking in for the past 11 years and moved to France. Wishing to explore, to travel and to start something new. I share this as a reminder that in this case it can be BIG, that area where Jupiter falls in your chart will almost definitely be impacted in some way over the next year. 

Is this edition of the light drops more local astrology heavy? It feels like it is.. There’s so much going on in our local system right now. I have been feeling our galactic neighbors too, of course. Ah and here she comes, right on cue. Have I ever spoken of the Andromeda Galaxy? I don’t believe our twin galaxy has come into one of these drops yet. I call Andromeda our twin, this galaxy often feels to me like our twin sister, the divine feminie to the Milky Way’s divine masculine. We are in tango together moving closer and closer until we collide and become one.  The channelings I have received about Andromeda describe “her” as our future selves, that this galaxy exists in the 12th dimension and higher, sometimes also felt as the ‘angelic realms”. What feels true to you? To me there is something so poetic about scientists predicting that the two galaxies will collide and the idea that, what we are viewing through our telescopes, is a higher dimensional realm representing our future selves.  So why is “she” coming in right now? Well, in our skies, “she” sits in the final degrees of Aries, very close to where Eris is, her square with Pluto is even closer than Eris at this point. With Pluto Retrograde now, we cross this square, then cross and cross again. Like we are being given the opportunity to revise, revist and then revise again before we continue the journey into our future. Many astrologers and energy/ field workers, myself included, believe that when Pluto finally makes his way out of Capricorn in 2024 - cue music - this is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius. For a moment journey with me, into this place where the Andromeda Galaxy is our future, our elevated selves. As you float in this 12th dimensional lightscape, can you feel the importance of Pluto square dancing with our future during the final stages of breaking down the old structures (Capricorn/ Saturn energy), clearing out the density. As the truth is revealed about who and what we are, what we are capable of. Squares are considered tense aspects. However, for me they feel like huge growth points, a place where we are able to see around corners. There are the tense moments, that uncomfortable place where your eyes strain at seeing from this unique angle but then, maybe just when you think “I can’t take any more,” the pressure subsides and your view expands and you realize that what seemed like pressure was just the release of an old perspective. I’m getting that birth canal imagery again. Most of us don’t remember our births but if we could the pressure of emergence would be top of mind, so to speak..

Ah birthing of the new and here comes Jupiter, saying it's okay my dear, let me widen that road for you. What is it that you're dreaming of? Wishing for? Let me help, here’s a little pep in your step to bring these dreams into being. 

There is SO much to talk about!! I haven’t even gotten to the Pleiades yet. Now that the nodes are in Taurus and Scorpio they are lighting the Pleiades up. May and October are BIG months for the Pleiades, this is when they set and rise from our vantage point each year (this is sometimes called a star point). In Northern America the Pleiades star point is somewhere between 17-25 of May. The exact conjunction between our Sun and Alcyone (the brightest star of the cluster) is on or about 20 of May. They then return to the night sky in October. Our Halloween is actually based upon a celebration of this star group finding themselves at their zenith point.  The exact dates of this will change based on your location and the story of these cosmic sisters varies quite a bit in different cultures. Many Native American cultures believe those born during the Star Point are starseeds from the Pleiades, others still believe that this group of stars are here to guide us, to protect us in the season of death as the world plunges into winter. Some believe they are actually the harbingers of death. Many believe they are the original blueprint for humans. I could go on and on about all the different channelings and myths about these beautiful stars.  It is their crossroads nature that I’m really feeling though, that they seem to walk at the intersection between this world and the next. Maybe I’m feeling the crossroads energy because Hekate is sitting very close to them right now? That feels yummy, the Queen of the Witches, Guardian of the Crossroads, Medicine Woman dancing in the sky with the Pleiades. 

This is such a powerful Moon cycle, there is density but it feels like it is here as a gift. Making itself seen so that we know where it is. If you can’t see a problem how can you ever fix it? Humans, as a general rule, do not like change. Look at that story I shared about my last Jupiter Aries transit, I stayed in a soul-sucking job for 11 Years! It paid well, I had my needs met on a superficial level, who cares that I couldn’t sleep, I was running on empty and my light was dimming. I stayed and stayed and stayed, the milk got sour and I stayed. When I finally left it was such a relief but also really fucking scary. Each time we leap into the beyond, out of our comfort, our dis-comfort zone, it is with faith and hope and a deeply felt gnosis that this is for the best. In my experience, even if it may not feel like it at the time, that is usually true.
