Scorpio Full Moon Eclipse - 5/6 May 2023

Wowee Wowee, what a time to be alive… As I was falling asleep the other night a song popped into my head; I haven’t been given a single song based theme for one of these Light Drops in a couple cycles, and this one is so freaking perfect..  So there I lay in bed calling upon my team/ guides, upon God the Divine Source, preparing for my journey into the dreamtime, suddenly I heard “I was alive and I waited, waited. I was alive and I waited for this”.. Even as I type these words I can feel tears watering my eyes.  I can feel the truth that we are in the midst of cataclysmic change, not in the traditional sense of the word cataclysm though. It's not as if there is a massive fire, asteroid, flood or other “external” earth quaking event on the horizon. At least that's not how I’m feeling this energy, instead it's got this feeling where I want to say “Grand Rising” to everyone I meet… Now this isn’t to say there won’t be a lot of noise as we watch the world wake up. The way I’m seeing it at this moment is a sort of big stretch and yawn, shaking off a long sleep and all the threads to the dream from which we are collectively awaking. Like any very vivid dream some of those threads are connected quite deep. You know those dreams where even hours or days after you’ve left them behind they keep creeping back into your consciousness, saying hey there is still something to be seen, something to be witnessed, a message that you missed. Other times the dream was so intense that it is hard to shake off, even if you are completely ready to let it go, and there is definitely a lot of this energy around Right Here, Right Now…

In case you missed it, or perhaps don’t know the song.. I just shared the title with you.. It is a song by Jesus Jones. This is pretty funny too given how present both Isa and Yeshua are during this Scorpio Lunar Eclipse, hold tight we’re getting there. The song is called Right Here, Right Now, it came out in 1991 and the writers were talking about the amazing independence movement of the eastern European “Soviet Bloc” countries after the fall of the Berlin Wall. As the world watched, Romania, Yugoslavia, the Czech Republic, Ukraine and many more found their long struggle for independence coming to fruition. It is a different sort of rapid transformation and independence that I am feeling now however. It is world wide, human wide evolutionary growth, empowerment and sovereignty. There is another passage in the song that gives me goosebumps: 

Oh, I saw the decade in, when it seemed the world could change

At the blink of an eye

And if anything

Then there's your sign of the times

It’s interesting often when I speak with people about how quickly things are going to transform, I hear the response, it has been this way for so long it will never change. It is too ingrained how could ‘it’ possibly shift. Usually in these moments it is old broken institutions we are discussing and the fear that things are going backwards not forwards.. During these conversations I often point to some of the massive changes that have occurred in the last decade. Hell in the last 3 years, technology generally is a huge example of this, looking back at “phones” even two years can be shocking. Then there are the things like how we work, here in SF for example, nearly all of our financial district office space sits empty as people are opting to work from home. While the ability to take a mental health day and to live in your truest expression of identity (she, he, they or other) is widely accepted. Now this isn’t to say that this is true everywhere, just like with all quickly changing landscapes, the push back from those who are afraid of change (whatever their reasons for this fear), is quite loud. I often equate this to a death rattle. That last gasp before the old dies away, and the beautiful cry of the new takes over.

Even movies from 2010-19 feel so much older. The difference in the way gender, sexuality, education, nearly everything that make up the social contracts we have with one another is so drastically different it blows my mind. To that point, I almost titled this Light Drop, Watching the World Wake Up From “His-Story”, when a message came in loud and clear, nope that's not it,, we are watching the world wake-up TO THEIR STORY.. We have been living for the last couple millenia a version of “his-story” there were millennia prior where we lived “her-story” even if most of us don’t remember that far back and the records have nearly all been destroyed.. It is now time for the unification. Rising up together saying yes it's “My” turn and recognizing that what that actually means is that its Our Turn..

Of course in order to come into this state of unification, it is necessary to allow our-selves to become unified; and this is what our Scorpio Lunar Eclipse energy (and the rest of this year) is all about…

Let’s start bringing in the cosmic blueprint shall we, and seeing as this is a Full Moon Eclipse, let’s start with the Sun, the Moon, Black Moon Lilith and Hyegia. This Quad is making a powerful Fixed Grand Cross. A Full Moon always puts us under a spotlight, when it’s also an Eclipse the wattage of the spotlight and the proximity are both vastly increased; this one being in Scorpio, well let’s just say if there is anything in your cellar that you don’t wanna see, time to double or triple or maybe even quadruple up your blinders. Scorpio’s energy already wants to reveal our secrets to us, a Full Moon in Scorpio holds a glaring light to them and the Eclipse says the Time Is NOW. The path is laid out before you if you are willing to walk it. During this Eclipse we also find the Sun sitting in between a now retrograde Mercury and Uranus in Taurus; Sol and Uranus will conjunct about a week after the Full Moon. Meaning we can expect to be hit with Lightning Bolts, the Earth shaking beneath our feet as we move into the final stretch of the Eclipse Wormhole. Also just as Uranus and Sol make their exact conjunction next week Mercury will begin its shift back to forward motion. We could feel this as all those communications, the downloads of light that came through as we emerged from the Eclipse Wormhole, start to make a bit more sense; and because this is all happening in Taurus we can also begin bringing the information into our physical reality. Not bad huh. I know sometimes when the information is coming this fast, when the ground is shaking so much it can be hard to find our footing. This lovely little piece of cosmic energy feels like a beautiful message from the heavens that we can now take these higher dimensional (out there) ideas and plant them firmly into the material plane. To make the unmanifest manifest if you will. That said, during the eclipse we might feel like it's too much too fast. That we don’t have an ability to translate the information that is coming through. Which is interesting given that we have so much Fixed energy, a template that often makes things feel like they are moving too slowly or not at all.  Let’s take a look at why this might be through this Fixed Grand Cross. Some of this fast moving Fixed energy is coming from the Eclipse itself. Eclipses fast track our destiny, our evolution; so even when they are in Fixed signs the energy has a lot of forward momentum. This one also has Uranus conjunct the Sun opposite the Moon energy kicking up the pace. Then we have an exact Square between Hygeia (in Aquarius) and Uranus, close to the Sun and connected through this to the Moon. Hygeia also moves fast, I often feel her energy as a “feminine” Uranus; lightning fast embodied awakening is a good descriptor for Hygeia. Then making this a Cross Grand, Black Moon Lilith (BML) is sitting over in Cancer almost exactly Square to the Moon and Sun. BML has some fast moving energy too, though not quite the same flavor as Uranus and Hygeia. For BML it's more a, no holds barred, take no prisoners, I will be still no more energy.  So our Destiny Path (the Lunar Nodes) are being lit up like the night sky on Independence Day, with energy that says, Wake the Fuck Up!!! Yes, you can take some time to stretch out, yawn a bit, shake the dust off and get your bearings but the runway has been cleared and it is time to emerge from this Eclipse Wormhole Tesser. What dimension are you emerging into, well now that’s an interesting question.

 To help us get there let’s bring in another Grand Cross that is running during this Full Moon. This Mutable Grand Cross is actually an energy that has been running for about a month now and will continue within some character changes well into 2025. Let’s begin with the “permanent” cast members. Neptune currently moving through the final degrees of Pisces is Square the Galactic Center which sits at about 27 degrees of Sagittarius. These two will be square dancing until Neptune leaves Pisces in 2025/6. The shamanistic veil thinning energy of Neptune in this dance with the GC has been giving me chills. The potential of what could and is already being revealed through this encounter about our inter-dimensional/ galactic nature makes me giddy.  Then we have Ceres, also known as Demeter (The Mother of Persephone). She rules what we consume and is currently moving in retrograde motion through Virgo, which means at the moment she is dancing away from this Square; but turns around soon to rejoin the party and is very much still on the dance floor. Ceres moving backwards through Virgo has me feeling into how in our world we have been taught that we should seek wholeness through what we consume. Don’t look within there's nothing there, here have this soda, this pair of jeans, this is how you can signal who you are. It is that old adage that what we possess actually ends up possessing us. We are being asked to re-member that in truth we are the only ones who can make our-selves whole. Many years ago I had a job working for a Hedge Fund, I made quite good money. I could travel and go out for fancy dinners, buy nice clothes, you know “all the things”. I won’t say I never had any fun during this lifetime; I will say though that I was mostly miserable, especially by my current standards of happiness. During my 11 years at this company I was in a constant state of low grade and often very high grade anxiety. Each vacation I took I was convinced I would be fired before I got home, especially if it was a vacation where I wasn’t constantly “on call”. My bosses, a married couple, would fight all the time and though by every metric of success (they were billionaires after all) they were winning the game, they were some of the most unhappy people I’ve ever met. During this time, if I had a really bad day I would go in for a little retail therapy, rather than heading straight home after work I would head over to ‘Bloomies’ or some other Dept. Store and buy myself some ridiculously expensive shoes and/ or clothes.. Sometimes it would even make me feel better for about 10 minutes. Then  I would go home and drink a bottle of wine to my head, likely much more. I kept thinking I can’t leave this job, the money is too good, where will I go? It'll just be the same anywhere else. I had bought into the idea that I didn’t deserve to feel fulfilled. That the money I received was my worth. It wasn’t until I’d spent an entire year with a migraine, in a non-stop panic attack and getting sicker and sicker by the day that I finally said enough. I share this story as a way for us all to feel into what Ceres is inviting us to do. Under the spotlight of this super bright Full Moon Eclipse, as the secrets of the universe are being revealed to us can you let your-self see that true wholeness comes from within.  With that, you may recall that at the beginning of April, Hekate was making up the Gemini portion of this Mutable Grand Cross shining her torch on this path; well she has moved on to Cancer now but someone pretty special is coming in to activate this space for us now. Venus, the energetic ruler of beauty and love has made her way to the final degrees of Gemini now to hold up a mirror and say yes it is you who is fairest of them all; and like Oprah she’s saying and it’s you, and it’s you and it’s you too!! We ALL get a mirror that proclaims the truth of our beauty. You see what is being revealed from the Center of the Galaxy is that we are, each and everyone of us, the most divinely beautiful creation that has ever been. Each of us is a unique expression of the Divine, of Divine Love, and when we allow our-selves to be the fullest expression of humanness and divineness, the universe literally sings.  Before I move on to another Mutable Square dancing group, if it calls, I invite you to explore the Cosmic Light Drops (CLD) that I published at the beginning of April: Balance Beams and Free-Falls, where I shared some lovely meditations and practices for exploring this GC-Neptune Square. 

With that, what’s a journey down the destiny line without clearing out some karmic debris right? Let’s call Saturn and Shiva to the dance floor.. I keep seeing one of those rotating dance floors, shifting the Mutable Grand Cross over to the side as a powerful T-Square becomes the main attraction now. As I do, let's remind our-selves that Mutable energy is all about the falling away, endings that clear the way for the new to come in. So this Mutable Grand Cross and T-Square are pointing at things which are asking us to allow them to burn away so that the new can be born from their ashes. We are generally quite good at honoring and celebrating births, begging the question, can we allow this same sort of joy to move through us, can we celebrate and honor the deaths? Let’s take a moment and lean on Saturn conjunct Magdalena in Pisces, Isis conjunct Persephone in Virgo and Shiva in Gemini (in a mixed sign conjunction with Sedna), to help. Let’s begin with Persephone and Isis, then Queen of the Underworld and Heralder of Spring actually feels like a super powerful reminder that it is both the birth and the death that deserve our celebration. Then we have Isis, through the death of Osiris and her re-memerbing of him they were able to unify and become the divine Horus. Both Isis and persephone are in the sign of purification and wholeness; purification reminds us that sometimes we need to let go of old toxic patterns to fully step into our true soul callings. I take us back to the story I shared about that toxic job I had. It still took me a while to find my way to my truth after leaving but without taking that step I may not be here now (truthfully, the way I was going I may not even be alive). Even though my fear tried to convince me to stay, my soul knew it was not where I was meant to be; so I let go and began the adventure that led me to be Right here Right Now. This is also true of what we call our “Karmic Debt”, oftentimes we have a really hard time letting go of the stories we’ve been told and have  told our-selves about what we deserve. All the ways in which we are not good enough, or don’t deserve to be treated as whole sovereign beings. That we don’t deserve forgiveness or love. This gets my inner Kali fire going, I just wanna say Fuck that Bullshit!!! These old stories are what have been used for generations to control us, it is time now to re-member that no one is better than you, no one has earned to be here any more or less than you have. Karma is not a you did this horrible thing, you are a no good shit, therefore you deserve to be treated as such. That’s old programming and honestly it's one of the things we are being asked to let die. What is rising from the ashes? The truth that each of us is gold covered in dung.  That may sound a bit crude, but when we re-member that dung is actually fertilizer it makes more sense right. Our karma is like that, it is the fertilizer that we bring with us into each incarnation to help us grow, revealing the amazing light that we truly are. This is what Saturn conjunct Magdalena and Shiva conjunct Sedna feel like to me. A reminder that regardless of the stories that have been told about us, that we have told about others, the stuff we’ve believed that we now realize is not true and the old narratives that are so hard to re-lease; when we allow our-selves to let go, to surrender to the truth we will find like Sedna herself, like Persephone and Isis, like Magdalena that we are in fact the rulers of our depths and through that re-membrance can allow our heights (our light) ever more access to our human beingness.

There are so many players active during this Lunar Eclipse and throughout the month of May. I am called to leave Pluto on the sidelines for now, even though the planet just went retrograde and is making a square to the lunar nodes. So yeah Pluto is absolutely a very active player right now. It is the Yeshua and Isa energies that want to come in for us here and now. Let’s begin with the asteroid named for the aspect of Christ Consciousness we call Yeshua, which is currently conjunct the stellar dimension of Arcturus in the sign of Libra, and sitting exactly across from Jupiter conjunct the Andromeda Galaxy in Aries (Jupiter-Andromeda are also exactly Trine the GC), the Yeshua-Jupiter opposition is making a loose but still very operational T-Square to Mars.  I am being guided to share with you a bit about the energy of Yeshua, this aspect of Christ Consciousness is different from Jesus and Isa. With Yeshua we are invited to explore the partnership, the student (disciple) studying in Egypt in the temple tradition of Isis. Journeying deep within and exploring the farthest reaches of consciousness. Connecting as wholly as possible to the divine mind, to cosmic consciousness and returning with the message that we are ALL this Light, that we are all the children of the Divine. The stellar dimensions of Arcturus is deeply connected to this journey for it is where we explore our true soul callings, it is where we build the maps of our earthly incarnations and review the roads we took as we complete each cycle. So here we have Yeshua and Arcturs sitting together, it feels like this is another example of the current cosmic blueprint inviting us to re-member that all contracts are up for renegotiation now. That when we can follow in Yeshua’s footsteps, allowing our-selves to penetrate the depths of our beings and explore our connection to the divine mind, we will discover that all roads lead home, how we travel is up to us. With these two across the wheel from Jupiter who is currently exactly conjunct to the Andromeda Galaxy we are being asked to expand the concept of cosmic consciousness outside the reaches of our current galactic home. As we do this we are able to come into greater contact with the truth that we are so much bigger than we previously  imagined. The T-Square they are making to Mars in Cancer feels like we are being invited to drive our-selves home. 

While all of this is happening the Isa aspect of Christ Consciousness is sitting in an exact conjunction with Chiron and Medusa all in Aries. Isa is the name given to Jesus in the Quran, this could be said to represent the Prophet nature of Christ Consciousness. Isa is described as a messiah but not “the” messiah. It is said that this energy will return and will herald the coming of the new age. For me this is a reminder that as the new age dawns we will each begin to re-member our connection to the divine. The Christ Consciousness returns not in the form of a single individual but as each of us walking in the world connected to our divinity. In many ways Isa also feels to me like wisdom, connected to the energy of Sophia and Christos, the first beings of light in Gnostic tradition. Interestingly Medusa is also deeply connected to wisdom, I invite you to feel the wisdom represented by Medusa through the Kundalini, the Serpent. It was Sophia who is said to have been the Serpent in the Garden that gave knowledge to Eve and Adam. It is also said that enlightenment is attained through the rising of the Kundalini energy from the base of the spine, where it sleeps, up through all the energy centers of the body bringing a deeper and richer state of enlightenment as it passes through. When it has reached the third eye and pops out the top of your head (crown) it has been said that one has reached a true state of enlightenment. Medusa represents this journey and then some, and the wisdom and power that becomes available when this energy has emerged from the crown and then begins to multiply. Both the messenger Isa and the archetype Medusa help us explore the deep wounds we are carrying around about the use and mis-use of power, now sitting in conjunction with Chiron these wounds of dis-empowerment and abandonment have risen to the surface that we may clean out the toxins and re-claim the wisdom that is our birthright.

This is our Soul Path Journey, it is the reason each and everyone of us has incarnated on to this plane. The form and shape of this empowerment process will be different for each of us, as each of us is a unique expression of divine light. The tools available to us will continue to reveal themselves as we dig deeper and allow the dung to become fertilizer rather than viewing it as a pile of shit that was dumped on us. Through all this we can sharpen our tools, hone them and allow our full lightness of being to shine through.
