Pisces New Moon 19/20 February 2023
In 1992-93 I wrote a short poem upon a piece of Artwork which was titled Time.. This was a very intense and vivid year for me. I was in my last year of High School, living with my Father, his New Wife and her children. About midway through this year I was kicked out of their home and found myself navigating the space between being an adult, though not yet 18 and being a child, completing High School, while working and trying to care for myself. I wrote these words…
The World is a Vessel of Time,
the Future, the Past, the Present.
The Past will Repeat itself,
but how do we know that our Present isn’t somebody else’s Past?
If the Past really repeats itself, to what extent do we hold this?
Can it be changed?
Must we learn about the past to prevent it from recurrence?
Or should we just let destiny take over and live for today
Not tomorrow or yesterday.
Now I wouldn’t say that this is some epic poem, however the “timing” of its writing is very interesting.
Over the last couple days as I have been touching into the energies of the Pisces New Moon, Saturn (Kronos) the Lord of Time and Karma has been very present; bringing in a lovely flowing dance with the 4th dimension, allowing me to escape from my pre-conceptions of time, to arrive where I am at the exact moment I was meant to be there. We often call this experience being in “Flow State”, a state that I call the emerging “new normal”. Saturn is about to shift, traveling through the last couple degrees of Aquarius over these next couple weeks; then on the 7th of March as the Virgo Full Moon peaks, Kronos will tip over into Pisces. This last occurred as I was graduating from High School, as this poem emerged through my channel. I was not consciously aware that Saturn was moving from Aquarius to Pisces then; though I did enjoy astrology I didn’t know much past the Sun and Moon as I danced upon this stage of my life.
Exploring the Pisces New Moon astrology, it feels like we are being asked to reconsider our relationship with Time. Even the peak moment of the Sun-Moon conjunction seems to be guiding us to explore how elastic time actually is; with the New Moon peaking on the 19th of February at 11:03 pm Pacific, meaning that for the majority of Earth's human population this New Moon is actually on the 20th. In the days leading up to the New Moon we also experienced the final Sun-Saturn Conjunction in Aquarius for the next 28 years, the New Moon will be in a mixed sign conjunction with our Karmic keys holding friend. Saturn has been activating our Higher Mind in Aquarius since 2020, a period of ‘time’ where we have been gifted explorations in how we experience this dimension. The slowing of days during the extended Covid lock-downs, people who never thought their job could be done remotely finding themselves working from their homes, children attending school from the kitchen table. The technological advances in Video meetings expanding the ability to connect with people all over the world simultaneously. Sometimes Aquarian energy can feel a bit cold or detached, many people who work in the energy healing realms (like myself) believed that this sort of work would suffer if people were not physically in the same room. This helped us re-member that we are all connected through the field, and while yes in person is so amazingly powerful; the impact of a circle spread across the globe all connected via something like Zoom is astounding. So as difficult as the last couple years have been for many people, we also have received many gifts; allowing us to shift our perception of what's possible and connecting us to the true “quantum” nature of our Universe. Time is not some simple flat piece of paper, it is more like a circle, within and upon which our embodied existence dances. There is a song called 3rd Planet by Modest Mouse which came in this morning as I was meditating on the dance between Kronos (Shiva) and Kairos (Shakti), the lyric: The Universe is shaped exactly like the Earth; If you go straight long enough you'll end up where you were.. Which brings in the question: What if instead of moving straight ahead we traversed through?
Honestly, I have been pretty obsessed with Time for as far back as my earliest memories of this incarnation, I suppose with Saturn sitting almost directly atop my MC (the work we do/ our pursuits), this is not so surprising. This was even evident in my favorite book from childhood “A Wrinkle in Time” by Madeleine L'Engle. I read this book again for the first time in many many years in the spring of 2022 and was exultant by the places where something that was then considered “fringe” science is now accepted truth. Especially things like Quantum Entanglement, Enfoldment and Multiple Dimensionality. Even the Consciousness of Stars which is a deep truth within my being and was part of the story line in this book is starting to gain more popular belief.
There is another energy I have been feeling very loudly as I have been weaving with this Pisces New Moon, Elusiveness and Illusiveness - these two words interweave with one another, they sound alike and have meanings that are just off center from one another. To be Illusive means: not corresponding to acknowledged facts or criteria. Whereas to be Elusive means: hard to understand or define. Let’s weave this through the lens of the cycle that is opening with the Pisces New Moon and some of the players dancing with one another. As this New Moon peaks we find Saturn in Aquarius making that aforementioned mixed sign conjunction with the Sun and Moon in Pisces, interestingly in some ways the difference between Aquarius and Pisces themselves can be “hard to define”, Pisces is about Transcendence and the Higher Heart a flowy water sign which is ruled by Neptune the planet of Dreams, Aquarius is about the Higher Mind, about Higher Expressions of Being, and is symbolized by the Waterbearer, an air sign with a lot of watery characteristics, is connected to what we dream of and is ruled by the planet Uranus the Great Awakener.. So it could be said we awaken in our dreams with Aquarius while we dream in our awakening with Pisces. Saturn is also making a Grand Air Trine during this lunar cycle with Hekate retrograding now in Gemini (Mars is now making his way towards her in forward motion but more than 10° away and not part of this particular party); and Horus, symbol of Divine Unification over in Libra. Here we are being shown that the path to “unification” is not always traveled in forward motion.
Hekate is also making a very tight Square to Neptune, the Galactic Shaman, who is closely conjunct the Dark Moon and Venus in the final degrees of Pisces. We are reminded that the Dark Moon aspect of Lilith connects us to that which can only be seen when we are ready. Venus in Pisces is all about activating our Higher Heart. She will also be making an exact conjunction with Jupiter and Chiron in Aries as the calendar tips from February to March; expanding access to our heart space as we welcome in all the energetic shifts coming through in this 3rd month of the western calendar year. I will also be holding a special Live Frequency Transmission Activation on the 28th of February to help us integrate this energy (stay tuned for details). Now this is some seriously Illusive energy, by which I mean, it does not correspond to acknowledged facts; the energy coming in has not previously been experienced by the majority of humans on this planet. We are forging a new path, the maps we have hitherto used can help guide us to some degree, but they cannot take us where we are headed. The landscape has not yet been tread. As Hekate brings in these Shamnic energies; Horus connects via a tight Square with the Underworld, Pluto, who is just wrapping up the first leg of his tear down job in Capricorn. Pluto will be shifting signs to Aquarius just as we collectively shift over into Aries on the 23rd of March (2 days later Mars will finally leave Gemini). Pluto is joined by Hygeia bringing her healing White Light energy in to help light up the demo site at the final degrees of Capricorn. Horus is the Divine Child, the symbol of our unified beingness, this Square with Pluto and Hygeia coming in as Pluto is preparing to make his first foray into Aquaruis feels like an amazing reminder that when we speak of the “Age of Aquarius” what we're really talking about is coming into a greater embodiment of our true nature as the “Divine Child”, Pluto and Hygeia make a perfect couple for this “Golden Age” as we are, all together now, unifying our heights and depths, allowing our embodied form to hold ever more of our soul light.
In the chart for this Pisces New Moon we are also being shown the path that we are traveling.. What I mean by this is that there is a tremendous amount of activity happening in the space between Aquarius and Aries.. The same area that is being activated by all the shifts coming through in March. I am going to share a little roll call and see where it takes us.
In Aquarius: Magdalena in Conjunct Mercury, with Saturn about 10°’s away; In Pisces: Sun-Moon, Medusa.. Isa.. Neptune-Dark Moon-Venus; In Aries: Vesta-Shiva-Jupiter… Chiron… Juno.
Oh yeah I didn’t mention earlier that Shiva and Vesta are conjunct to Jupiter as Venus makes her way towards them. Our Passions and Inner Flame, Vesta dancing upon the Universal dance floor Shiva has created. Aries energy is also about our Drive and Passions, Jupiter is expanding this energy and by the time Venus really joins them in the final week of February they will be close to touching our wound of self expression (Chiron in Aries). Here we can begin to explore all the ways that we have felt out of touch with Time. There is a song that came through for this Pisces New Moon, Everything is Everything by Lauren Hill and these words in particular speak to the energy that Venus, Vesta, Jupiter, Shiva and Chiron are bringing in as we open to the shifting landscape in March:

What is meant to be, will be
After winter, must come spring
Change, it comes eventually
So many of us have grown up being told we are supposed to do this, to be this, to hold the same template. By this age you “should be” married, having kids, going to college, have the perfect job, the 10 year plan… Over the last decade or so and the last couple years in particular we have been demolishing this false narrative. Re-membering that each of us is Unique and that each of us is here to follow our “Meant to be” not someone else’s “Supposed to be”. As Saturn begins its shift into Pisces and Pluto starts to dance and weave over the next 15 months or so between Aquarius and Capricorn, we are being given an amazing opportunity to clear away these old paradigms, the strict constructions and rules about time, about space and our relationship to them. Not simply in a meta-physical sense, though absolutely there also, but in our “mundane” day-to-day lives. Stripping away the rules about who we should be, should marry, how many children we are supposed to have, what schools are good, what professions are best. As we embrace the unique light that each of us carries within us, as we re-member that we can marry whomever we want, or not at all if that's what calls. Our whole Identity, sexual preferences, gender and all ways is our unique template, the children we have or don’t, how we weave our passions with what we pursue. Life may all ways be cyclical, we may always be in a dance with the 4th dimension, but the music and the style options are as limitless as can be.
I feel called to leave us here, as we explore the various ways each of us is able to weave the liminal over these coming days and weeks.. To embrace our unique shamanic and lightworker templates. To bring our Unique light, gifts and beingness out of hiding and into full view under the multicolored, multi-dimensional ‘spotlight’ of this Pisces Super New Moon.
