‘Distillation is the process where more spiritual energies come into the crown and there is a further stirring up of the psychic forces. This process reveals if there are any mental or emotional impurities that have been deeply hidden within the ego personality.”

As I have been feeling into the Capricorn Super Full Moon and the energies of the first half of July (actually through the entire month and into the next eclipse wormhole in Nov.) the words Purification and Distillation keep rising to the surface, so to speak.
When you make distilled water or spirits, it is not the physicality of the substance that you are collecting, rather you slowly cook the prima materia releasing the essence as steam. The steam is collected using a vessel and returns to physical mattered form once again; the impurities left behind which as the ‘mash’ can then be recycled to create something new (often via composting). From a spiritual alchemy perspective it is the light within our being that rises to the surface, shining upon any impurities which through our witnessing are then able to be re-leased, thus allowing the condensed light within to also rise, the lightness’ of our being intertwines then this whole light returns to us (as the vessel) to be integrated into our lives (physical form). Like a good spirit the process of distillation is not a one and done, we are instead invited to integrate the 1st distillation, and begin the process over and over again, to create a ‘top shelf’ state of being, as it were.
This is what it means to “purify” the spirit. Through our souls journey most of us have had many encounters that created a tarnish or stain, old wounds that were created when making choices in life (the current incarnation or others) that were not truly aligned to soul purpose, or where even when aligned inflicted severe harm upon self or others. This last piece is a bit complicated, for it feels like if an act is soul aligned (i.e., in conjunction with one's soul contract) how can it also harm self or another and create a stain. It would take a whole masterclass series to begin to even touch the surface of this paradox, in this moment I can share that on occasion our soul will contract to help facilitate a growth for the whole (collective), which because of the state of the world during that time also meant performing an act of harm - a big example would be all the souls that worked together to ‘off the head’ of Mary Antoinette, which helped spurn on the French Revolution and ended the monarchical reign in France. Each of the souls who took part in her death carry that blood on their hands, which still needs to be washed off. Whenever an act of harm, especially mortal harm, is engaged in it creates a tear in the fabric of the soul which needs to be mended; even if that act was also for the highest good… that said like all wounds, as we clean them out and begin the healing process many gifts can be revealed.
Which brings me back to purification and distillation and a calling in of some of the cosmic blueprint that is helping create an energetic song sheet for this amazingly potent soul growth period. I am going to begin with the retrogrades and go from there..
By the time the Super Full Moon reaches its peak (in the wee hours of the morning 4:39 am PT) on 3 July 2023 we will have Pluto, Saturn, and Neptune all in retrograde motion with Venus in shadow (traveling over the degrees ‘she’ will retrograde through beginning 22 July); by the end of August nearly all of the major planets will appear to be moving backwards from our Earthly perspective. When a planet moves retrograde we are invited to explore our internal world and how the energy, reflected by the frequency that cosmic realm holds, manifests in us individually; we can also allow ourselves to see how these energies are underpinning the world around us. When I see retrogrades in someone's natal chart it is often an indicator of a place where deep self reflection (introspection) is invited.
The Pluto Retrograde has moved the planet of Shadowwork back to the 29 degree of Capricorn, which is the sign where the Full Moon takes place; they are not technically conjunct, however because this is a SuperMoon the light cast upon the sign of the Sea Goat and therefore what Pluto is unearthing is quite bright. As the Full Moon comes to peak Pluto, the Nodes and the asteroid named for Hekate will be moving into an ever tightening Cardinal Grand Cross (You can dive deeper into this energy here: Becoming I Am as Hekate Crosses Pluto and the Nodes). As this Cross tightens so too does our ability to see the old patterns which have been keeping us from taking the next step along our soul path. The Cardinal Grand Cross will be most active from about 11 July - 18 July, as the nodes officially shift into Aries-Libra between the 12th (Mean) and 18th (True) of July and Hekate hits the 29 Degree of Cancer. That said with the Capricorn SuperMoon lighting up our path on the 3rd we are invited to begin our explorations now. There is one other energy that has come into my consciousness and as a large player in this particular CGC, Kali the demon slayer and mother is moving alongside of Hekate in Cancer. It was not until this morning that her presence called to be added to the chart for this particular lunation. I heard her open the door during my meditation and say it will not surprise you to see where I reside. Kali will officially move out of Cancer a couple days before the nodes switch into Aries-Libra, which means that she will hit them as an exact T-Square at the 0 degree of Leo for her and of Taurus and Scorpio for the Nodes.
I am called to let my channel open a bit wider for Kali now as I type, so that she may speak to the transformation that is underway. When we think of a purification and the slaying of demons it can rise up old images of exorcisms and horror movies; however that which we are slaying is not some force outside of ourselves it is in fact those places within us that through fear and pain, through old traumas we have shamed and othered. The Demon Slayer is also the Mother because what we are asked to do here is not a slaying as an act of bloodshed, but as holding and nurturing, a witnessing and a loving those aspects of ourselves that helped us survive in hard times and then with love and gratitude, re-membering that the threat has now gone and it is ok to put down the weapons (whatever form they may take), to rest and reclaim the light that was being so closely guarded.
Thank you Kali for this re-membering. It has brought to me something that has been percolating within my being for some weeks now; the illness that took me down into a dark night that lasted more than 7 years. I had many things come up during this long journey with surgeries and medications, hospitalizations and ER visits. One of the final diagnosis I received was a little known “auto-immune” dis-order called Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), the testing is quite complicated and often costly, which is in part why it is so little known; and like so many auto-immune conditions the way it presents and the triggers are as unique as the individuals in which they manifest. In our physical bodies we have many little beings that help us to regulate and process, each of us is a structure as complex as the universe itself; all the microscopic beings do everything from regulate our blood pressure and hormones to digesting our food - literally every mechanism within our bodies is in contact with every other mechanism, so we have beings that help coordinate communication and keep things running smoothly, until something is knocked out of balance, this can occur due to stress, trauma, and a whole slew of environmental factors; this includes our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual environment. The Mast Cell is like the sentry of our immune system - they act as a first line of defense against toxins that may enter our system; when they are confronted with a stressor they launch an attack, and just like our emotional and mental states of being they can exhibit symptoms that resemble Complex PTSD. For my personal journey it was a multi-factored range of contributors that led me into the realm of MCAS, and coming out the otherside is one of the great works of my life. For me, because the little beings that regulate my system had become so traumatized, it literally took eliminating nearly all food from my diet (I am happily able to eat much again - which the chef and lover of the bounty that Gaia has to offer is overjoyed by). For nearly all of 2020 and quite a bit of 2021 I went on an exodus of sorts. Spending up to and sometimes exceeding 10 hours per day in meditation - drinking crystalline water and running various light activations through my being. It was a difficult process which had me weighing less than 90 lbs at the time of the December 2020 Solstice. This is not a journey I would recommend, unless it is what your soul has called in for you; it was for me a necessary act of distillation and purification. I can feel that my Mast Cells were agents of Kali, alerting me to the changes I needed to make, and because I was being stubborn and not listening the sword was necessary; now I find myself in the Golden Kali phase of the journey, the place where the deep introspective journeying I went through and the lines of communication that widened through it have allowed me to once again enjoy foods that I thought were on the NO list forever, to go on long hikes and dance at concerts all night, to be in a state of health and balance. I said earlier this is my life’s journey - I have distilled and purified many times, each time a new truth and a new wound in unveiled to me, in part because I was so out of balance at one point, like my Mast Cells even the slightest tilt can feel massive to me at this point. It is a sensitivity that is a necessary part of my spiritual journey. How it manifests in you will likely look very different, however it is also through witnessing others doing the work that we are able to see where our true work resides.
On that note I’m ready to bring this Super Full Moon in properly now, let’s take a look at some of the lines that are making up the cosmic blueprint. This Moon reaches its peak at the 11th degree of Capricorn, with the Sun across the wheel at 11 of Cancer in conjunction with Shiva, Mercury and the Stellar Dimension of Sirius. It is this later conjunction where we will begin and some of the lines (aspects) this quad is making.. Sirius the Soul Star to our Sol Star, every year between the last week of June and the first week of July these two stellar dimensions meet with one another. We have many celebrations of Sirius in our calendars, the two most well known being the Lionsgate Portal, which is celebrated on 8/8 and marks the rising of Sirius in our night sky once again; and the Sirius Gateway, which is what is underway at this moment and will peak on 7/7. When the Sun and Sirius meet our connection to our own Soul Star Chakra and to the higher dimensional state of being we call Christ Consciousness becomes easier to access. The conjunction of our Sun (Outward Expression of Self) and the Stellar Sirius Dimension creates a gateway through the center of our sun into the center of this dimension, a dimension that holds the template of our next higher evolutionary state of being.
We have talked before about the various stellar dimensions, that Gaia herself and the various life forms that call her home have gone into a 5th dimensional vibratory rate, this dimension brings us through the dimension of time and helps us connect to the Aksha, to that plane of existence where time is not a line that only moves in one direction but is more like an infinity symbol, everything occurring simultaneously, the center point marking the void or the space of infinite potential. This 5th dimensional state of being is now where many of us in human form find ourselves - this is why so many are starting to see through the illusions (the veil) that has kept us in a perceived state of separation for so long. Some humans are holding “higher” frequency dimensional states of being within their templating also - helping to hold the higher wavelength open - but I get ahead of myself.. When we speak of Christ Consciousness and the dimension of Sirius it is the 7th Dimensional frequency that we are connecting to. I can feel a desire to keep going but am also hearing to wait. Alright, back to the matter at hand - and the Capricorn Full Moon, during which we find not Sol but Mercury the Messenger of the Gods making an exact conjunction with Sirius, I almost want to just leave that right there.. But will invite you to feel it even more deeply through this transmission: The Messenger of the Gods is meeting with the Stellar Dimension of Christ Consciousness as the Full Moon in Capricorn the sign of Earthly Incarnation, Structures, Time and Karma, a Super Full Moon, is reflecting brightest light in very close proximity to the Earth herself… Cancer where the reflection is being generated is the sign of family and belonging. What messages can you allow this bright light to transmit to you about who you truly are?
While this Quad is playing together in Cancer they are also in a very tight gifting Trine with Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) and Magdalena (holder of the Black Ray of introspection and creation) both in the transcendental waters of Pisces. Here I am called to allow Shiva the floor, actually it is the relationship between Saturn and Shiva in particular that feels to come through.. Both of these masculine (divine) energies are connected to the foundations of our world, universe. They reflect the stage upon which all of creation (the feminine) dances. The Sun and Shiva are less than a degree apart and sitting in exact Trine to the energy of divine feminine creation that Magdalena represents, Saturn began retracing steps through Pisces just as the Gemini New Moon peaked, there is a story here a place where we can allow ourselves to explore the ways we have disregarded the stage upon which we dance. This could be our relationship to the masculine, to time, to our physical bodies, the Earth. The other day I was in conversation with someone who is trying to repair their relationship with “Saturn”, in tears I felt the words of Shakespere rise up, “All the Worlds a Stage” yet as we the actors have been singing and dancing upon this stage we have forgotten it, we have said it is not also us. Let us re-member time is not a thing to fight against or to be overcome anymore than nature is. Yet we have separated ourselves so much from these truths that we forgot that without the stage there would be no play. Without time the Earth would not exist, so even as we and Earth herself are now vibrating into the 5th dimension we do not leave time behind, we simply re-member that it is not as limited as we once believed. This is true for the masculine also, we have demonized the patriarchy, often with good reason - there has been much bloodshed, but we blind ourselves to the wounds (traumas) that these acts of atrocity are rooted in. Part of our ability to connect to the realm beyond time offers us an ability for greater forgiveness and healing, it allows us to see and feel the scripts that are being run so that we may rewrite them.
There is so much going on during this Super Full Moon and I want so badly to share all of it with you, I can feel how this might overwhelm the system though; so I tune in now and ask what is the truest truth that I can share with you all? What is the energy, the frequency that wishes to express for us all in this moment and before I could even finish typing the words in the door walks Neptune…
Alrighty here we go, through the curtain as Neptune on the 30th of June begins to move backwards through the sign of Pisces in an exact square to the Galactic Center (Sagittarius) and Trine to our friends Hekate and Kali in Cancer.. Neptune removes veils from our eyes, helps us to connect in with our higher hearts and consciousness - the Galactic Shaman as I often call this energy is very connected to the stellar dimension of Sirius and to Christ Consciousness, Neptune rules Pisces and asks us to transcend our wounds, moving backwards brings this veil lifting to our internal expanse, a shamnic journey not up and out but ever deeper in - I keep feeling how deeply once again we are being called to the Distillation and Purification process, Hekate lighting the path for us as Kali radiates Golden Light into the wounds; both bringing us into contact with where we have been and where we are going in Square to the Nodes and helping us tear down the structures that no longer fit with Pluto across the way… Each time I run a chart whether for a lunation, a special event or for an individual one of my favorite places to play is all the intersections. Each Natal Chart is a massive multi-dimensional puzzle (blueprint) the pieces and ways they connect are so vast and complex that from this plane it is impossible to see them all (even when viewed from the 5th dimension).
At this moment we are going to play a game with this Capricorn Full Moon puzzle, this is truly how we will close today’s Light Drop - I will share brief words but mostly I will verbally display the interconnected masterpiece represented in the chart that I was called to create. Hekate and Kali in Trine to Neptune and in Cardinal Grand Cross to the Nodes and Pluto have started the party - Pluto connects us via Trine to Uranus and Medusa in Taurus, who are Square to Venus, Mars and Pallas in Leo who form a Grand Fire Trine with Eris and the Galactic Center, which is Square to the aforementioned Neptune; As we bring in the Moon and Sun, we find Luna making a Grand Earth Trine with Isa and Jupiter in Taurus and Isis and Persephone in Virgo - each of these lunar trines forms a Sextile with the Sun, Shiva, Mercury and Sirius - who in turn make a Trine with Saturn and Magdalena who likewise are Sextile to the Moon; Isis and Persephone in Virgo are also tightly Square to Saturn and Magdalena in Pisces and at 14 degrees of Virgo Persephone is still conjunct to Parvati in Virgo who is making an exact Trine to Medusa, who if we remember is conjunct to Uranus which is Trine to Pluto.. We could go on all day but having circled a square it feels like this is a fun place to stop the display of interweavings and to allow some words to flow as we close.
You see, I come from a Soul Group called the Architects, to me exploring the various angles and aspects and all the places the interconnect is my happy place, to find the story they are sharing and help us move into our next highest state of being through its telling.. In these subtle realms, through the interweavings of our Capricorn Super Full Moon chart we can see the energy of awakening and reclamation held by Uranus and Medusa connecting us in to the truth about our ability to create our reality which is so deeply connected to the story of Isis and Parvati, while Persephone works the shadow realms with Pluto, and Saturn helps create the stage with Shiva so that Magdalena and our true outward expression of self may dance. Mercury travels throughout all the realms and relays messages and Neptune connects to the GC pulling back the curtain that has separated the Earth realm from the rest of the Galaxy and Universe. This is but a microcosm of the macro, just like the little beings that exist within each of us help keep our processes in balance, as we re-member our true divine nature we help the universe to stay in balance. To me this is what we truly mean when we say Grand Rising and welcome the ‘New Earth”.
