The Incredible LIGHT of BEINGness

There is something different about the energy of this full moon cycle… It’s not simply because it is happening as the Sun meets one after another, after another of the stellar dimensions that make up the Orion constellation. Or that the Solstice is bridging June’s Full and New Moon at exactly the 7 day mark. Though it feels like these are important elements templating these frequencies. More than anything though it is a sense of LIGHTness.. Of Joy and Effervescence. It feels like the universe is saying,  yes I know there is war, there is strife but there are also birds and bees, flowers and trees, there is BLUE SKY. Like after all the heaviness and intensities of eclipse season, the world remembered, hey it’s summertime somewhere let's have a picnic.  

When I feel into the energy there is also a sense of integration and the gentleness of a baby fawn taking their first steps. Of newborns of all species and the space they are given to learn to walk, eat, fly, all of the things. A time of play and exploration where we all learn the tools necessary to navigate the world around us. It feels like we are in some ways being given this time of integration, of spaciousness, and Lightness to integrate all that we’ve learned. All the light codes that have come down through the communications with Algol and Alcyonne, in fact on the 14th of June, during the Full Moon, Hekate will be conjunct Aldebaran, then Mercury will follow her, in the days before and after the Solstice. I channeled a really lovely Aldebaran Activation during the Gemini New Moon, if you are called to explore this energy further. . Oh yeah, the astrology is really coming in now.. 

We will begin where it ALL begins, at the Galactic Center… yes, the very center of the Milky Way Galaxy, the spark of light that emerged from the blackness of the void (black hole). This point has amazing, powerful associations with the creation of ALL. With the Divine Mother, and dancing right on top of this point of light is none other than Medusa’s Asteroid. This is a VERY tight conjunction, when I say she’s dancing on the point of light at the center of our galaxy, I mean the point, like she’s atop an obelisk or pyramid dancing en pointe.  (I am called to a very brief description of the “clock face” of an atstrochart. On a chart there are 12 signs, each sign accounts to 30 degrees of the chart. So when you look at your birth chart and see your Sun there will be a number, something like 030, this means 0 degrees and 30 mins.. When two, or more, objects are “in aspect” it means the big number and little number of the object is very close to the numbers of another object. Such as, Sun at 030 and Moon at 029 of the same or a different sign.. When “in aspect”, the closer the degree and minute are between the bodies, the tighter the aspect and the more potent). Ok back to our regularly scheduled program.. With this knowledge base we can now enjoy the fact that Medusa is dancing 30 mins off the exact Center of our Galaxy as the Full Moon peaks (both at 27 degrees of Sagittarius). She is currently moving Retrograde and her dance will carry her through the center point of the galaxy and across to the otherside in the days following the Full Moon.  Oh and did I mention that this is all happening conjunct, though a bit loosely, the moon? Which also means opposite the sun?  At first it felt a bit weird that I was called to such a detailed description of how the astrology is calculated.. But I can feel a transmission wanting to come through and the guides wanted this “math” to be templated first. Alrighty, let’s all take a deep breath and close our eyes for a moment. OK, now let’s feel into all the rewiring that’s been happening, the re-writing and remembering of the truth about Medusa. We can begin with her name, which means Guardian, Protector.  Feel how her ALLness dancing atop the bright light at the center of our galaxy. Can show us how that which we have demonized in the past, those aspects of ourselves in particular. Can now begin to come forth through the light at the core of our beings to show us the gifts they have guarding, protecting. 

So if the Full Moon is like a bright flashlight allowing us to see all these shadows, imagine the brightness of this flashlight when lit up not just by our Sun but by the entire fucking Galactic Center! Not to mention, this is also a SUPER Full Moon, because of course it is… And, This whole party is playing T-ball with Neptune. By which I mean both the Sun and Moon (together with Medusa and the Galactic Center) are forming a square to the water planet ruled by Poseidon. I just had quite a laugh as I remembered the massive role that Poseidon has in Medusa’s story, did he rape her? Did they have a consensual affair? (did you know then word rape was also used to connote consensual sex with an unmarried woman in ancient Rome. With severe punishment for both parties)  Consensual or not, it was their relations, and the pregnancy that resulted from it, which so enraged Athena, that she banished Medusa to an isolated island and transformed her into a Gorgon whose glance will turn you to stone. What can we learn from this? Over the last couple months, inner power and strength, sovereignty have been on the menu in a loud way. Medusa has been a major player in this reclamation. As we find ourselves in this place where we are reclaiming the inner strength and power that is our birth right, we can also retake the gifts that our sexuality and sexual relations give us. Whatever each of these encounters may have been. It feels super powerful that we can reclaim our beings, from those experiences where our sexuality was used as a weapon against us. Where others or our inner dialogue used our sex to victimize and/or demonize us.. We can collectively use this big ass bright light to say NO MORE! I AM HERE and you cannot shame, judge or other me. I will not allow the truth about my sexual identity, my sexuality to be weaponized ever again. And of course, this is all happening during PRIDE month. The names, the slights, whatever you may say against me I will hold up and say This is now MY WORD and MY WORLD. A beautiful song by Perfume Genius called Queen has entered my mind. The entirety of the song takes every horrible name, stereotype, you name it that the world has used as a bludgeon against, gay men in particular and re-appropriates them. “Don’t you Know You’re Queen!” 

Are there words, projections that have previously been weaponized, which you can now reclaim, based on your sexuality, on the way you look, behave, about the truth of who you are? How’s this for an empowerment practice, feel into a name or identity that has been placed upon you in a “demeaning” way. Can you now stand up and say, Your word has no power over me, This is who I AM and it is my word now! One of these that I love is the word Pussy, so often used as a way of saying weak. I laugh now when someone says Pussy, and say Thank YOU, Yes! I Am incredibly strong and flexible, I am able to deliver new life into the world.. 

For me some more of these words/ labels are Oracle, Channel, Witch.. It took me a long time to finally stand up and say, actually, Yes, I AM an Oracle, A Channel , A Witch - to the point where I now use this language on the business cards I got in the mail today.

The Sun, Moon, Medusa and the Galactic Center may be the loudest of the energies at play over this Full Moon but they are by no means the only ones, and, as always seems to be the case, the other louds calling in feel very linked to this main theme. The specific energy that's calling right now is a very very very tight conjunction between Mars and Chiron (once again, minutes apart) they are unsurprisingly Trine, loosely, to the Moon, GC and Medusa conjunction.. However they are in an extremely tight Trine to another Galactic point called the Great Attractor (The moon is sitting right in between the GC-Medusa and The Great Attractor). What is the Great Attractor you may be asking, and rightly so it is a very mysterious point. This point is “a gravitational anomaly in intergalactic space”; it is also the central gravitational point of the Laniakea Supercluster. Let’s take that last piece first.. If you think of the Milky Way Galaxy as our country, then the Laniakea Supercluster would be the continent in which our galaxy lives. Home to the Milky Way and billions of other neighboring galaxies. So while Medusa is dancing en pointe atop the Galactic Center of the Milky Way, Mars and Chiron are playing a pick up game with the black hole at the center of all our neighboring galaxies, phew! Another way I have heard The Great Attractor described and which feels absolutely perfect for this particular moment is as a great big vacuum cleaner, hoovering up all that no longer serves us, sucking it in so fast that we barely have a moment to realize it's left us. Now, as we begin to bring all this energy Chiron in Aries is about our collective sense of identity. Over the eons as we have existed in top down societal structures. We have given our inner power and authority over to a church, government or other system to keep us safe and protect us. The result of this has been a loss of our individual identities, I am seeing a vision of white suburban america in the 1950s, the cookie cutter homes, with the lawn and white picket fence, all the mothers in their matching dresses and aprons waving goodbye to their husbands and 2.5 kids as they all leave for the day. House after house, each exactly the same. Or so it appears from the outside. This sort of society thrives on hiding the individual identity and on the surface looks so serene, its “picture perfect” but scratch the surface and there is alcoholism, spousal abuse, bullying, inequality of so many types and so many fucking secrets about each individuals truth, leading to depression, suicide and the aforementioned alcohol and drug dependence issues. Wow I thought I said this was a light full moon.. That’s just it though isn’t it. Without examining the hidden underbelly of our past how can we ever expect to live in the LIGHT? The LIGHT thrives on truth.  It also feels like this is where the Mars-Chiron conjunction energy is coming in. Mars is warrior energy, but not necessarily war. What if instead he is helping us battle those demons of the past that created this fracture of self? Giving us the backbone to stand, helping our collective fawn legs become strong enough to hold the full weight of our now forming antlers, to become the Stags/ Does, we are meant to be. Yes, Mars sitting with Chiron is helping us hold our power as we say. This is who I AM, while the Great Attractor says, I SEE YOU, I LOVE YOU, let me suck away all that fear, uncertainty and pain, you no longer need it my deer.

I am feeling called to bring in another aspect of Neptune in now. We spoke of Poseidon’s relationship to Medusa, but there is so much more to Neptune, especially sitting as this beautiful blue planet is, in Pisces. Earlier this year (literally just a couple moons ago) there was an aspect that every energy worker and astrologer couldn’t get enough of. The Jupiter-Neptune conjunction. The theme, energy, of this conjunction was BIG BIG BIG spiritual awakening. We then began to move into eclipse season. With barely a moment to breathe before the washing machine spin cycle of this wormhole took us in and shook up all that awakening energy. This is where the LIGHTness comes in, the Emergence and the Integration. Yes, there is still SO MUCH going on, we are remaking the whole fucking world after all. But that doesn’t mean we don’t get to sleep, to dance, to play. To learn to crawl, then walk, then fly. That's what the T-Square Neptune and this Super Full Moon feels like to me. A momentary pause, to regroup, but in that regrouping also remembering what we are doing this for and who we are, individually. If you are going to Love (fight) for something it helps to know, to remember what that something is. This is also big dreaming energy. It's as if Neptune has come in to say, don’t forget your BIG Dreams, and to keep your eye on the ball. Ah, I see now why it was described as T-ball. A T-Square is tense, sure, but maybe we can remember the fear of stepping up to the plate in gym class and having to swing at the ball on the stand. Everyone watching, will you whiff it, will they laugh? All those self worth issues at their infancy. Now Be the Ball, See the Ball and remember there is no-thing separating you from the bat, from the stand, from the ball you are all one. OK now Swing…
