Cosmic Light Drops

I’m going to start today’s Light Drop with a little something that made me laugh the other day. Over the last couple weeks, I have been talking A LOT about Trust, especially trusting of self, your inner knowings. One of the ways this showed up in our last Light Drop was the Square between Chiron, Quaoar/Vega and Sirius jumping out at me. So here’s a little “behind the scenes” for you. As I was writing the last update I was feeling so many different energies, it was a really fucking loud Moon cycle… So I slowed down, made sure I was centered and said, OK what is the most important note in this symphony to share? What will help those who find this update the most? In galloped Chiron, I laughed and said OK yeah.. Interestingly prior to that this T-Square hadn’t really caught my attention on the charts. But at that moment it was as if someone had taken a magic highlighter to these squares. I had no choice but to listen and let the words flow through me. That's how these light drops and all of “my” frequency updates, programs etc.. happen, I open up and then get the fuck out of the way so the energy can speak for itself. That's not to say I don’t edit these updates at all, but I try to do so with the energy rather than in competition with it (gotta admit, I think, the Kerouac-Esque comma use is probably all me..). So there it is Chiron and Trust and not only was I guided to write about the energy this T-Square was blueprinting for us but also to create an frequency update video,Chiron The Wounded Healer/Warrior Frequency Update 18 March 2022, speaking about it as well. So what made me laugh? Well a couple days ago I opened up the ‘gram and what do I see but a post from Tanaz at Forever Conscious (an astrologer I like), which says Chiron will be conjunct this New Moon. Of course it will, what a beautiful reminder of my connection to the grid, to the cosmic light, than to have tuned in - heard Chiron wanting the floor and later learn that he is gearing up for a meeting of the minds, the soul and the spirit at the end of this week..
This is where the transmission really begins, it's all a transmission of course but I can feel the energy building now and Chiron coming in saying yes there it is Trust, sure Trust in self absolutely but it's so much Bigger, it is letting go, it is remembering that you are not alone, You have NEVER been alone!!! You are a sovereign being with all that entails, you are powerful beyond your imagining and you are absolutely divinely connected to the ALL of everything.
OK, so this brings in the loud that I’m feeling. The WOUNDING. Your specific core wounding may be different depending on where Chiron falls in your chart, but for the collective we are being given an opportunity to see the fears of abandonment, of self questioning, the big WHO AM I. Will I be accepted if I Am my truest self? It feels important to speak to some of the potential pit/pratfalls that can come in when exploring this territory, the making yourself small, the second guessing of your path, your voice, your gifts, your connection, your light. I am feeling a lot of potential for energy leaks, for old cyclical patterns to re-emerge or get louder. There is so much gifting available through these wounds, like Rumi said, they are where the light gets in. However it is paramount to be aware that the wound exists in order to let the light in, at least in any significant way. If you ignore a wound it will often fester, potentially get infected and make itself known in a different form. So rather than a few stitches you lose the whole limb.
The Spiritual Mind/ The Wounded Mind, Mercury has left behind Jupiter and Neptune, who are simultaneously moving ever closer together, in Pisces. To join the dance with the Sun, Moon and Chiron in Aries. It feels like, as these big planets Jupiter and Neptune get closer to their conjunction, with all the amazing opportunities for spiritual growth this brings. Mercury is asking us to perform some mental gymnastics. Saying will you trust your spiritual mind or your wounded mind? Moving over the course of two weeks from a full moon conjunction with Jupiter to a New Moon conjunction with Sol/ Chiron, it really feels so perfectly, divinely, lined up. So as this New Moon comes in, and starts re-playing the edited tape showing only the separation, we have already watched the tape of our conception, the amnesia we signed up for and seen that it is time to remember now. Each New Moon is both the entrance into the void and the re-birth, and this one seems to be saying hey this time you can be born without the amnesia, you get to remember who you are, WOW!
There was another pause for me just now, what serves?? Pluto jumped through, so loud all year already and not quite ready to stop dragging us through our shadows.. The aspect is a complicated one, deep astrology stuff. But the Lord of the Underworld wants to be heard so here we go. Pluto is Inconjunct (Quincunx) the New Moon party and I laugh because it's a pretty wide orb and not something I would normally feel called to bring attention to, but this isn’t me I suppose, it’s Hades and He still wants to be seen. Perhaps it is the Rumi wounds quote again, the Chironic wound, Pluto saying don’t forget your wounds, your shadows, they are a part of the path to remembering. NO SPIRITUAL BYPASSING, I'm hearing it in the tone of Mother Dearest and her disdain for wire hangers. This also reminds me, I had a dream Monday night, although to call it a dream is a little wonky. It was more of a download, a series of images and words that I awoke knowing were important in some way. One of the words was Aldebaran, I was being asked to see where this Fixed (Royal) Star falls during the New Moon.. So look I did, the “bulls eye” is in a pretty tight Sextile with the New Moon party. Aldebaran also called Lamparas, the Lighthouse or Torchbearer, has come in to shine a light over the proceedings, with lots of Guardian angel, Blue and Violet Flame energy, to clear away any astral debris we may be holding as we open up ever more to the truth of Divine Love that resides within our hearts.
There is a quote that’s been following me around for the last couple weeks, which is finding voice here, Walt Whitman saying “Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself. (I am Large. I contain Multitudes).” Why did this come in now? Where does Aldebaran live? Why did Pluto remind me of this dream? In part I suppose because the cluster of stars where she sits is called the Hyades cluster. When I began touching into and researching Aldebaran there is a striking similarity to the Hades/ Persephone myth. Namely that the “Bull” or in some cultures “Antelope” is actually a disguise of a god/ father figure who takes on this form and shape to appeal to the object of his desire and have his way with her.. This is also where we find the Bull chasing the seven sisters (the Pleiades), Orion hunting the Bull… So together with all this beautiful guardian angel, love and light energy that she contains, there is also an interesting Underworld vibe. Now interestingly the asteroid Persephone is actually sitting right next to Aldebaran in the sky, ah the cosmic creativity, I love it. When I have felt deeply into the myth of Persephone and Hades rather than seeing a victim with Stockholm syndrome, or having been roofied with pomegranate seeds, I see two halves of the same being. The pain we inflict on ourselves, sometimes because we don’t remember and sometimes to help us remember, most often both. Sometimes we need stitches and a bandage, sometimes we need to have our stitches removed and bandage ripped off so the wound can breathe. In order to come back to wholeness you must be able to see that a separation exists, even if only in your mind.
Before I move on from Pluto et al., there's someone else who’s throwing her ring into the fire, as it were, Eris - Goddess of Chaotic Creation, Goddess of Discord, is saying you better not fucking forget me, I’ll burn this whole place to the ground. She will too, I mean she started the Trojan war because they forgot to invite her to a wedding. She has been square dancing with Pluto for the last couple years (since early 2020) and though they are beginning to say farewell, will keep dancing in a sort of “midwest goodbye” for the rest of this year. She is also playing with Venus during the New Moon, and over the next weeks the Moon, Sun, and Mercury will pass through her domain.
Perhaps it’s Eris that is coming in to rip off that bandaid? Interestingly meeting up with Venus (Aphrodite), one of the Gods she baited with her Apple of Discord. I’m feeling some questions, where are you not letting yourself see the beauty of your wounds, your shadows? Do you roofie yourself? When you look into the mirror do you only see the prettiest things? The acceptable things? Can you instead look deeper and show yourself all the places you are broken, scared, vulnerable? The angle between Venus and Eris is called a sextile, it’s said to bring harmony, and I can definitely feel this. It's like the spiritual mind/ wounded mind again. When acting from the spiritual mind, you can strip yourself down, cleanse yourself with flames of truth and love then begin to rebuild again from those places rather than fear and separation. Speaking of Foundations..
We are going to round out this cycle’s light drop with the master of foundations, Saturn. On the New Moon, the Venus/ Mars relationship that has been so hot and heavy the last couple months is starting to cool off, they won’t separate just yet but it’s on the horizon, and who’s hanging out right in between them? Having just met up with Venus, Mars tagging behind just a bit now, but our friend Saturn. The Mars-Saturn conjunction is a couple days after the New Moon, but Saturn has started to make the couple ask about the strength of their convictions, of their desire for one another. Maybe it's time to start moving on, to build something new? That new piece, with this all happening in Aquarius, is especially loud. Saturn has been asking us to review our relationship to the new for a while now in various ways but meeting up with the God of War and the God of Love within a week or so of each other. This feels like a beautiful opportunity to really question where we have built our foundations on Love and where we have built them on War (Fear). I think it can be easier to see this looking out at the collective than it can when we pose those same queries at ourselves. However, that is one of the gifts on offer right now, putting ourselves individually under the microscope and seeing where we’ve built our foundations. Are they built on fertile ground or fallow? From a place of love or fear?
I said we’d end with Saturn but spirit has another idea.. We are going to end with Manifestation. All New Moons are manifestation, re-birth portals, however this is the first New Moon of the astrological year giving it a little extra juice. Ah I see where this is going now, you sneaky, cheeky spirit you.. When manifesting, where are you manifesting from? If you are feeling called to some sort of ritual or meditation, a practice to bring in that which you desire, can you approach this from a place of love rather than fear? Can you trust yourself enough to know that if you long for something and it is aligned, if it is what you need rather than simply what you want, it will flow to you easily? So often we hear the term Manifestation and we think a million dollars, a new sports car, insert material good here. Or maybe it's a soul-filled relationship, twin flame, living my purpose. I’m not saying there is anything wrong with this, however if these things are not flowing to you it could be an indicator that there is something in the mirror you are not looking at. That you perhaps think that you need a new soul-filled relationship, yet are not actually seeing the one that is right in front of you that you’ve been neglecting? Perhaps even the soul-filled relationship with yourself? That you want to live your true life-purpose but cannot see that you already are; it just doesn’t look how you thought it was supposed to, or you were told it was “supposed to” look.
