I’m gonna start our light drop for this lunar cycle the same way I began my day today.. With a meditation, specifically a meditation on trust. You can do this now, after you finish reading this energy update and/or at any other time that you feel called, I am going to ask you to close your eyes though so maybe finish reading this part at least :-)
Close your eyes and take a couple deep breaths,
first bringing all your focus into your heart
Then allowing your focus and breath to move together
into the area of your diaphragm
A space deep within, where your solar plexus and heart chakras meet
Continue breathing here and even place your hands on this space
Now as you breath allow your mind to move into the concept of trustworthiness
Perhaps if it feels right to begin repeating the mantra
I AM Trust Worthy, I AM Worthy of Trust
Allow yourself to really believe, to know, to feel
That you are trust worthy, worthy of trust
You can continue playing with this however you're called, for me it went into all the ways I could trust the physical structures of my body, then the energetic planes. It really hit home with the I can trust my gut, I AM safe to trust my gut… Also I can trust my divine purpose, I can trust my connection with the divine and the divine nature of all beings.. Let this meditation and your inner guidance take you where this trust is most needed. This is about trusting yourself after all so let go and let yourself in.
Well as you’ve probably guessed at this point one of the loudest themes I’m feeling for our current lunar cycles, which includes the Full Moon on the 18th and Ostara (the Equinox) on the 20th, is TRUST. I’ll dive even further into Trust in a moment but first let’s look at some of the other frequencies that are really loud. I spoke quite a bit about Transformation, Metamorphosis and Elevation(Evolution) during the last update and these themes are still very loud, they will be all year. However there is a place where trust and these other aspects/ energies meet that feels like it is screaming at me right now… LOVE not so-called “little love” but high high divine mother-father love. Perhaps this is screaming so loud because this is after all what the Blue Flame represents. I keep hearing the beautiful sentiment from the Dionne Warwick song “What the World needs now is LOVE sweet LOVE, it's the only thing that there’s just too little of.”
Taking a quick dip into planetary astrology, the impact of our coming Jupiter-Neptune conjunction on April 12th is getting stronger every day. This conjunction brings with it a super high frequency spiritual awakening energy, an EnLivening, EnLovening frequency if you will. For it is through the heart not the mind that you truly become awake, alive. Neptune holds that divine awakener vibration and Jupiter expands whatever it touches. I spoke of this during my InstaLive about the connection between Sirius B and Neptune, the Star and Justice tarot cards. Interestingly as we move closer to the full moon and equinox it is Mercury, the divine messenger who joins the Trine party with Hygieia and Sirius. These three share the close dance now (they are trine within a minute on the full moon) as Jupiter and Neptune move closer together and further into Pisces, slipping away from this party until their date on April 12th.
Now “All YOU Need is LOVE” is enjoying a mash-up in my head with “What the World needs now”. Sirius and Hygieia letting me know that they are enjoying this meet-cute with Mercury. As the divine messenger, always so quick, accepts their gifts of awakening divine love and heads off to meet-cute and share the good word at the beach bonfire Jupiter and Neptune are hosting. I keep getting the image of a molly fueled rave/ tent revival on the beach with a big ‘ol fire to throw all the stuff you don’t need anymore and then dance like a dervish, without the need for the molly.
Ah I feel trust coming back now, for how can we accept these gifts of divine love if we don’t trust. Or more so, how can we trust another and accept the gifts they have to offer if we cannot/ do not trust ourselves, our own divine nature? There are profound and amazing gifts available with the current astrological energy blueprint. However in order to receive these gifts we have to be open to them and in order to open and receive, trust is paramount.
As I was feeling further and deeper into trust, current world events began to filter in. There is so much opportunity for fear right now with everything going on in Ukraine with Putin’s Russia, so many other things as well, but as of my writing this war feels the loudest. How it came through was, ah yes, of course. What better way to maintain control and to ensure that no one trusts themselves, then to make them war. To literally separate people in the loudest most destructive way possible. This is also why the first thing a dictator does is banish the free press. If the only information being provided is that which they wish you to believe it sows distrust in your own senses. I had a friend in High School who would joke that when he had children he would teach them that Red was Green and Green was Red. Imagine the confusion at a street light this child would experience or on the first day of school. My friend never actually did this, but it does make for an interesting thought experiment. A place to explore where the truth “lies”. This feels like that place where Neptune, the galactic shaman moves into the role of sleight-of-hand magician. What a gift though, that exploration of the realms where fact and fiction meet. How better to learn your truth than to explore all the illusions that you have set up around yourself, that have been collectively set up around us.
I was talking about this earlier today and the question came up, so how do you discern the true truth and the place where the truth “lies”? I shared that for me it's about my body, more specifically my heart and my gut. That space where we played during the meditation at the beginning of this light drop. The dimension where our divine power meets with our divine love. If it is a true truth I can feel it in my heart I am a-light, I can feel it in my guts they may have butterflies but it is excitement and joy a gnosis that even if its scary its still true. For you it may feel different and that's one of the places to play, what does it feel like in my body, my being when something is really true? Another way is to explore something that you are certain is not true. What does this feel like in your body? What sensations do you notice? Starting with small seemingly inconsequential stuff is often the easiest way to unlock your body’s wisdom. Should I turn left or right on this walk? Should I have coffee or tea? A bath or a shower.. As you establish your connection to this innate wisdom it can also help develop your capacity to trust yourself. To deem yourself worthy of trust.
Alright, I’m feeling its time to get Inter-galactic, planetary with this. Not that we haven;t been doing that this whole time but now is the time on Cosmic Light Drops where we list the stats…
Let’s start with our MOON, La Luna, on the 18th she hits the peak of her fullness in the sign of Virgo. The chart looks absolutely breathtaking actually. It reminds me of an archer's bow with the arrow pointed directly at the moon. Every planet and a whole lot of the asteroids in our solar system are on one side of the wheel with the North Node and Pluto acting as bow anchors. This feels big, we literally have our shadow self and our destiny line, soul’s purpose, lit up in a trine with the moon, our emotional body. As the Sun arches the arrow back, pointing directly at her. This image feels like a perfect metaphor for the gifts available when we allow ourselves to explore the truth of who we are underneath all the masks we have created to show the world what we think it wants to see.
On the galactic front, ALCYONE, the central sun of the Pleiades is also part of the la luna, trine party not nearly as tightly as Pluto and the North Node but it feels significant given the relationship between Pluto and the Pleiades (these stars and the North Node are both currently in Taurus). Interestingly the seven sisters are seen both as a bringer of life and a bringer of death. They rise to their peak height in the northern hemisphere right around Halloween, this is actually where Samhain originates. They also set (meet with the sun and leave our skies) in mid-may as Taurus season begins and the spring has sprung. It is such a lovely reminder that we find our light through exploring our shadows.
I’ve already spoken quite a bit about the energies of Sirius, Neptune, Jupiter, Mercury etc, this energy is peaking over the next lunar cycle as well so i’ll put a pin in that for now. It is fun to point out that the Pluto, North Node Trine is also Sextile Neptune. Just for shits and giggles, or maybe more precisely giggling while we shit ourselves.
I could probably go on for another 20 pages about the energies for just this week alone but I will trust myself and the message to let one last energy have the floor before we close this update.
CHIRON wants the floor, this asteroid represents the wounded healer. In our natal chart the placement indicates our deepest core wound. Chiron moves fairly slowly so these tend to be generational wounds and where he sits in the present activates the collective wounding that is being given the spotlight. Currently that is the ‘WHO AM I’, what is my purpose? Fear of abandonment wounding. I just got the chills and had to laugh cause oh yeah there’s trust again. It takes a lot of trust to step into a room, into life, and say this is WHO I AM. Well Chiron is currently squaring off “against” Sirius, Quaoar and Vega while sitting in a lovely sextile with Venus, Mars and Ceres and conjunct Pallas Athena (the female mars) – mostly this is to say our collective core wounding is lit the fuck up!! It feels like all the ways and places where through fear we have lost contact with our ability to trust. This has created fractures and made us feel separate not just from the divine, from one another but from ourselves. What a gift this is though, not the fracturing necessarily but perhaps you can find the gift here as well.. For me it is that because I have experienced this fracturing, this perception of separateness, the coming back together is possible and the remembering that the connection never went anywhere oh well that brings a warm glow as tears flow. It is through the forgetting, that I am allowed to remember again and in remembering what I thought I lost, the beauty of it is revealed once again.
This could be a beautiful place to play, explore the feelings of disconnection, the places where you’ve felt abandoned or where you have done the abandoning. Explore that feeling of re-connection to yourself when and where you’ve found them, re-connections to the divine. A sunset, holding the hand of a newborn are some ways to explore this but there are so many feel into what calls you home. This also feels like it's pointing to the separation, abandonment, fear, fracturing that occurs during a war. That those who wish to control our connections to our own divine power and divine love use things like war to do just that. If we can stand in the face of these oppressor energies be they physical, personal, collective or energetic, we can begin to reconnect those fractured places within ourselves and within the collective and help to keep new fractures from being created.
In many ways this to me is what it means to be a lightworker…
