COSMIC LIGHT DROPS

July has found me in a state of reminding myself again and again, Be Here Now. Reminding myself of this is a space I often occupy. I have a tendency to skate off into the future, the past. Into other dimensions and realms, to travel or dream of all the travels to come. One of the ways that I am feeling the need to remember, Be Here Now, is regarding an energetic templating that is coming down the pipe. At the end of July, Mars, Uranus, Kali and the North Node are all meeting up in a near exact conjunction! Oh yeah and remember the Dark Moon Lilith, yeah she’s playing along too, passing over the Uranus and North Node Conjunction in the days before.. We are actually already beginning to feel the energy, it’s Big.. But there I go jumping ahead again… Be Here Now.. yes this is big energy and loud but it is not the whole story, and the journey to this conjunction is filled with so much!
At this moment the conjunction between Sol and Sirius has passed, here in the Bay Area and throughout most of the planet. Sirius, the “Higher Self” to our Sun will begin to re-emerge in the pre-dawn skies towards the end of the month, we celebrate this rising collectively on 8/8. During this current phase Sirius cannot be seen from anywhere on the Earth. Energetically this creates a sort of integration period. A time to recalibrate with all that came through during the conjunction, and before the next cycle begins. For the Ancient Egyptians, the day of Sirius’ rising was the dawning of the New Year, marking the rise of the Nile, the flooding of the lands and the rebirth of lushness and life. One way we could look at this period between the conjunction and the rise would be as the incubation period, of let’s say Crocodiles since we are floating in the Nile. The eggs have been laid in the muddy banks and now is a time to rest and grow. To sit in a state of meditation perhaps as life giving nutrients flood into us. It's not about “doing” right now, instead we can simply allow ourselves to receive. This feels like an amazing opportunity for a bit of a meditation practice. Stop, Stop everything, now rather than focusing your attention on your breath, allow yourself to be breathed. Can you allow yourself to not do anything, to be in this moment and the next and the next. No calling in light from above, or below, no searching for the next sign, the next place, the next (insert here). But instead like a cloud to be carried by the current of the wind. For even 2 minutes can you allow yourself this stillness. To really truly let go and BE.
The other day I was listening to an interview with Yun Rou, a Toaist Monk, during which he spoke a bit about his meditative practice. Each day, for 3 hours, give or take, he would stand hugging a tree. This is amazing to me, to stand for three hours straight, hugging a tree. I find myself imagining all that can come through and all that could fall away in just 10 minutes of stillness, standing, hugging a tree. The heart opening, Gaia nourishing yumminess of this type of practice. Now i’m not saying go out and hug a tree for three hours, then again i’m also not saying, not too… Although if you are called to this sort of practice you may want to start with the 10 minutes first, LOL… Why is this coming through, I suppose as a reminder that meditation is a practice but also that it can take any form. A conversation can be a meditation, making dinner, doing dishes, hell playing a video game. It is about intent, for me this can also get lost when we forget to Be Here Now. That we have an opportunity to let each and every moment of our lives be a mystical experience, and that we don’t have to DO Anything in order for this to be true. We can simply allow it to be.
Wow, ok then hils, can we start playing with the galactic astrology already.. LOL. Yes, let’s start to dip our fingers and toes into this coming Capricorn Full Moon. A moon conjunct to Pluto, and Trine to Uranus and the North Node.. A moon forming a T-Square with the Sun and Chiron (and Eris).. As we begin to bring this energy in it feels important to note that this is a Supermoon, actually it's the superest (closest to Earth) supermoon of the year. The 2nd of a set of 3 supermoons in a row.. Now that’s a big fucking spotlight! So yes, as I mentioned in the opening, we are beginning to feel the energy of that conjunction between Mars, Kali, Uranus and the North Node, happening at the end of the month (2 days after the New Moon). This Full Moon feels in some ways like an amuse bouche, or actually more like a flashing yellow light signaling “sharp curve ahead”. Uranus and the North Node have been playing footsie for a bit now, and pretty soon the change agent will be sitting on the lap of our destiny. As the Full Moon peaks they are still in separate if nearly touching chairs.. I’m really feeling this flashing yellow light and the sharp curve ahead energy. We’ve got Pluto moving backwards still grinding out the last few degrees of Capricorn, the moon is close, not on top but with a light this bright whats a few degrees here or there. Saying what don’t you want to see? Here let me shine a light on how you’ve structured your world. Pluto is sitting in a growing tighter by the day trine with Uranus and the North Node. If a trine is where our gifts lay, then could this flashing yellow light signify a rapid change in the way we’ve structured our world, a change that brings our structures more in alignment with our collective destiny???
What of this T-Square? The Sun and Moon sitting across from one another crossed by Chiron. It's not very tight, the part of me that likes to get technical was actually trying not to mention it. However when Chiron calls like Kali or Lilith it's best to pick up the phone so here we go. Chiron is currently sitting in Aries, the I Am of the astrological wheel. Chiron’s wound in Aries can be seen as Who Am I? How and where do I fit in? For many with Chiron in Aries the wound plays out as, “If I am my true self, will I be accepted”? Fear of abandonment is loud with this placement. The wounded healer, who is going to begin backtracking a couple days after the full moon, has been highlighting these wounds for us since 2019. Wherever your personal Chiron sits, this transit through Aries (which goes till 2026) is calling us all to rebirth our self worth. As we feel into this rebirth, can we take a moment to really feel how this bright spotlight is helping us to make a decision. To play small or play big. To walk our truth or hide in the shadows. Except, to me at least, it doesn’t feel like much of a choice. Maybe that's why we needed this to be the brightest moon of the year, a reminder that no matter how far into the shadows you try to hide, eventually the light will reach you.
So here we are, taking a moment to Be Here Now, to search deep within ourselves as we also excavate the shadows of the world we’ve built. I almost moved on but Lilith called, she wanted to remind us that she is still very active over this full moon. In her “physical” asteroid aspect she is dancing with the sun as part of the Chiron Moon T-square. Mercury and Persephone are also at this party and it feels like some incredibly juicy territory to explore. The Messenger of the Gods, Mercury, in some mythology is the only being that can travel both in the heavens and the underworld, Is hanging out in the sign of tender loving care (Cancer) with the Sun, Persephone, and Lilith. Across the table the Moon and Pluto (Lord of the Underworld) sit in “but this is how it's always been done” Capricorn. Are they negotiating a peace treaty? Pluto’s not one to let the old stand just because that's how it's been and the Moon LOVES change. Is Chiron sitting at the cross saying, and look at all the pain “the way it’s always been” has caused. Lest we forget, Eris is here too, she’ been squaring off with Pluto for a while now and she is definitely not gonna let the old stand, she’d rather see the whole place burn down. We all have the capacity for change. In comes Uranus’ hearing this call for change, with a lightning bolt in hand, says I’m on it! What was that I said earlier about a flashing yellow light, sharp curve ahead.

Before I move on, Neptune, Lord of the Dreamtime in watery Pisces, wants to have a chat, he is dancing in a loose trine with the Sol shakedown party. However it is a different goddess altogether that he is really snuggled up to. Isis, currently dancing in the last couple degrees of Cancer is entangled in a romance for the ages with Neptune. Sometimes Neptune can get a little ahead of himself, out of this world might be a better metaphor. But Isis is a builder of worlds so they make for a beautiful couple. She says dream bigger, I’ll show you how to love your dreams into being.
Which brings me beautifully into the stellar dimensions and asteroids who have asked to be the closers in this particular drops of light.. Let’s begin with some familiar energy, the stellar dimension Algol. You may remember this as Medusa’s third eye. I spoke a lot about these stars in this Energy Update.,Algol is hanging with Sedna, who I’ve also spoken about on the ‘Tube, near the Uranus North Node conjunction. Their trine to Pluto is actually incredibly tight. As a refresher, There are two ways we could view Sedna in this particular placement, which feels like this is an exploration into which timeline you’d like to surf. We can explore galactic codes as her asteroid orbits all the way out to the Oort Cloud and back, bringing with her messages of the new. Or her ancient archetypal aspects, the queen of the underworld, vengeful ruler of the fates of man. Much like Algol the “demon star” they both help us realize, all is not as it seems. That as we learn and grow, we can shift our perspectives to make space for new information.
As we explore the third eye of Medusa, it is she herself (in asteroid form) that will bring us home. Medusa has been dancing with the Magdalena in Sagittarius for a couple months now. Then last week as the Sirius-Sol conjunction was peaking a another stellar dimension called my name. The stars that create the stinger of the Scorpion. They are named Shaula and Lesath, connected, unsurprisingly, with poisons and acid. Hmmm, that reminds me of Medusa’s blood. These two stars are sitting in between Medusa and the Magdalena. A whole party of the misunderstood and it could be fair to say misrepresented are all sitting directly opposite Venus and Hekate in Gemini. Let’s take a moment to feel into the energies of the signs. Sagittarius loves to learn, to expand and explore. Gemini loves duality, and will bring us messages from both (all) sides. With this templated feel into the Lover (Venus) and the Queen of Witches/ Crossroads (Hekate). Here we are with another opportunity to learn and grow, to expand our consciousness with love. a reminder that the stories we have always been told may not be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Maybe we can even learn some new information about ourselves in the process. It feels important to just briefly mention that this whole party is also having a bit of fun with Saturn, because of course they are.. We are already pretty deep in the rabbit hole at this point so why not.. Saturn is in a Trine to Venus and more loosely Hekate and to keep things really interesting is also pretty tightly square to Algol.. So let’s play, Circle that Square. We remember that Pluto is breaking down our structures with La Luna in Capricorn ruled by Saturn. As the Lord of Karma sits in negotiations for what goes and what stays in Aquarius. As the misunderstood and misrepresented stand up and say hear me, see me, love me. The real me, I AM HERE NOW.
