FIXING A HOLE IN THE PORTAL OF DESTINY
This energy Y’all, holy well everything! I know that may seem gratuitous to say this but, we are literally in a Portal of Destiny. There is so much going on over the coming weeks. As we move into these energies, take a moment to go into your heart, allow yourself to feel this truth. To remember that you signed up to be here now and that we are in a once in a lifetime, evolutionary leap sort of Portal of Destiny.
It could be said that we’ve been in this portal for a while now, since say 2012, or longer even… A way to touch into this is to remember that a portal is a door. That we’ve gone through many leading to this particular door and we will go through many more after. The choices you make in each room will dictate what the next door will present for your unique journey. I am guided to speak of this in terms of the Matrix movies, in particular the hallways that appear from the second movie onward. Each doorway leads to a new place, a new adventure. In the third movie, Neo finds himself in the “final room” confronted with a choice, this is what a Portal of Destiny feels like to me.
I am called to begin our journey by traveling into the Lionsgate. The stellar dimension of Sirius, are beginning their annual rising in our pre-dawn sky this week. Having made their conjunction to Sol at the end of June beginning of July, (Sirius Gateway). They now rise again as morning star, depending on your latitude this will occur sometime between the end of July and the end of August. The Lionsgate Portal is open throughout this time period but reaches its peak and is observed collectively on 8/8. In ancient Egypt the rising of Sirius would coincide with the rising of the Nile, the flooding of the River Valley and the lushness and fertility that came with this. It was the birth of the New Year, the re-emergence of life after the dry season. Sirius is the energy of the higher self, of resurrection, and is deeply connected to the frequency of the Goddess Isis.. It is her energy of rebirth, creating life from that which was previously believed dead, that is on offer during the Lionsgate Portal.
Unsurprisingly the asteroid named for Isis is being activated by this New Moon and remains active all throughout the massive conjunction and the 8/8 portal that follows. I can feel myself really wanting to jump into the astrology now, but just before I do, it feels important to emphasize that all of what follows is happening while we are in the Lionsgate Portal. On its own the significance of this astrology blueprint is life-changing territory. That is is all templating during the Lionsgate portal, this gateway of profound change, of re-birth, of activating ascension codes and galactic information is just so fucking HUGE and BEAUTIFUL!
As the Lion’s mouth opens we find ourselves in the company of the Sun, the Moon, Ceres (also known as Demeter) and Isis, all traveling together as a sort of welcome party to this portal. On the New Moon we find them in the early degrees of Leo, heralding the rebirth energies on offer. Isis and Ceres will be traveling together throughout this portal, exact on the New Moon, moving ever so slightly apart then coming exact again on 8/8. Both Isis and Ceres hold the archetypal energy of the Mother, of Rebirth and while Isis holds the template of Divine or you could even say Galactic Mother, Ceres holds more of an Earth Mother template. For me it feels like they have come together during this portal to help bridge and unify the divine and the “mundane”, the galactic and the earthly realms.
It feels like they are guiding us to the Portal of Destiny, and before I start to accuse myself of burying the lead, I sense they are shining their lamp on this door now. I began to speak of this energy in the Capricorn Full Moon Light Drop, the time has now come to really open up to these frequencies. In the days after the New Moon we have one of the biggest, maybe, probably the biggest alignment of 2022. Uranus, The North Node, Mars and Kali are meeting together at 18 degrees of Taurus. This is quite literally a Once in a Lifetime alignment. Uranus spends 7 years in each sign (give or take with retrogrades) and has an 84 year orbit. So while Uranus meets the North Node every 15 years, it hasn’t happened in Taurus since 1855. Adding Mars into the picture we have to go back to 1458. Though I haven’t mathed out the time frame, when we add Kaali into the mix or of this conjunction all happening during the Lionsgate, however it feels like this brings us into the territory of the eon rather than epoch. We could go back to the BIG and LOUD that happened last time Uranus met the North Node in Taurus and even further to the volcanic winter that coincided with the 1458 meeting with Mars.. It feels more potent though, to look at what is being offered for us in this now, during this portal and for the change that is being offered.
Let’s step back a moment, like a painter stepping back from the canvas, let’s take a view of the whole chart during this particular conjunction. The first place I am called is what is referred to as a Grand Cross, I’ve spoken of Grand Cross energy before. A Grand Cross occurs when you have a celestial body or point in each element of a specific type, Fixed, Mutable or Cardinal. This one is Fixed, which can be very stabilizing though sometimes presents as very rigid. Let's take a look at the performers in this four way square dance. In the material world of the Earth sign Taurus, we’ve already introduced Kaali, Mars, Uranus and the North Node. In the rarely flighty but often fanciful Air sign Aquarius, we find Saturn and Shiva. The Lord of Karma and Time has partnered with Shiva the Divine Masculine Creator who holds together the fabric of reality (which is then animated by Kali, as an aspect of Shakti). Don’t know about you but I’m hard pressed to think of a more stabilizing pair than these two. That they are holding court in Aquarius the sign of the New Age, of expanded consciousness, feels pretty significant. As we move across the boards we find The South Node, in the underworld of our emotion the Water sign Scorpio. As the North Node represents our future path, the South represents where we have come from. It holds our greatest gifts and our deepest wounds. Scorpio will leave no secret untold, not unlike Kali this is no holds barred energy for clearing away anything that doesn’t meet the standards of highest good for all. Bringing us home we find the Messenger of the Gods, Mercury, traveling through the fixed Fire sign Leo, with a Lionheart, speaking the language of Love and Sovereignty..
As we open to the frequencies of this Fixed Grand Cross, it feels important to mention that leading into this, the New Moon is making a Fixed T-Square of its own. The only sign not represented is in fact Taurus. Where the fireworks are already so big it would almost feel like overkill to bring them into this too.. The actors in this play are of course Isis, Ceres, the Moon and Sun in Leo, then we have Chariklo, wife and guide to Chiron, holding healing and empowering space for the evolutionary leap Aquarius is promising, as Hygiea brings in her unique brand of rapid awakening and miraculous healing to our unconscious emotions, floating them to the surface as Scorpio will not abide them staying in the abyss any longer.
This is quite a layer cake being assembled for us, and this is just the baking batter. Before we get to the frosting and fillings though let's take a moment to pause and reflect. To allow ourselves to go deep for a moment and tune in to what our truest desires are. Let yourself get still and bring your attention to your heart, then ask yourself, your heart space. If there was nothing holding me back. No this, that and the other thing, no possible excuse to keep me from living as my truest, most authentic, most divine self. What would that look like? Now with this feeling, with this remembering of the who, what, and where you are called, let’s start frosting the cake. As we do try and stay open, to remember that glimpses of the when and how can appear at any moment, perhaps a piece will even present itself as you are taking in this transmission.
If the squares we looked at previously represent the cake, it is in some lovely Trine and Sextile energy that we find our frosting and fillings. Let’s begin with Jupiter, shortly after the New Moon peaks this big and bountiful planet is going stationary, as it begins its retrograde cycle. Bringing to a fine point and enhancing the energy of expansion that Jupiter always brings to the party. During the New Moon, Jupiter, who just happens to be in the sign of new beginnings Aries, is in a very close Trine with the Sun-Moon-Isis-Ceres, expanding the gifts of re-birth on offer from this conjunction. Jupiter is also in a Sextile with Chariklo, which feels like expanding our capacity to heal ourselves, in part by remembering that healing can look many different ways. This is a delectable and smooth filling for our cake, but to keep things interesting and textured Jupiter is also having a square dancing party, which lasts through this entire portal.
To begin, let's join a pretty awesome party happening in Cancer. Here we find Venus and the Black Moon aspects of Lilith, they are in the aforementioned Square with Jupiter, expanding what it means to be feminine, to be desirable, to desire, helping us expand what we desire. To keep things even more interesting they are also conjunct Sirius, can you feel this bringing in higher self energy, and helping us connect even deeper to the Lionsgate Portal of re-birth and possibility. These are not the only guests at the party though, even the fillings of this cake contain multitudes. A little deeper into the warm and comforting waters of Cancer we find Lilith’s physical manifestation (asteroid) hanging with Persephone, and these two have brought Neptune and Pluto to the party. While Pluto stands across the room (Opposite) from the pair, Neptune is gifting (Trine) the group with some dreamy tones. There is something here that is so powerful, a feeling of standing across the room from yourself with love and remembering that the only thing separating you from your dreams is you.
On cue, Pluto is inviting us to begin adding the frosting to our cake, in the form of an amazing Grand Trine on 1 August at the peak of the North Node Conjunction. An Earth Grand Trine between the Portal of Destiny (the North Node conjunction), Pluto and none other than the Moon, yup La Luna was not done with us yet. Just as she begins to re-emerge from her conjunction with the Sun, in great rebirth fashion, the Moon is meeting up almost exactly trine to our Portal of Destiny as it opens to its widest point. The template of breaking down the old being held by Pluto for a couple years now in Capricorn is being gifted by the light of a newly born moon shining the first glimmers of faint light onto the realms of very practical faeries in Virgo as the Portal of Destiny opens into (within) our material world.
Our cake has been baked, filled, layered and frosted. It is beautiful and I’m getting hungry. Before we can cut a slice and tuck in to our destiny Mercury flies in and says what for the special “birthday” message. The message is being written in the form of a Fire Grand Trine, so it’s coming in hot and fast. Mercury as we know is in Leo, bringing in messages of self confidence and radiant love. While a now Retrograde Chiron is retreading the age old question of Who Am I? As our friends the Magdalena and Medusa, invite us to transcend and re-examine any self limiting behaviors or patterns that this question arises within us.
Talk about Fixing a Hole in YOUR Portal of Destiny! These are most fabulous times, they can also be very energetically exhausting. We are deep into Black Ray territory, into the province introspection. As we begin to dip into the layer cake that is our unique blueprint, our soul’s call. How we wish to express ourselves, to be seen. Where we will no longer tolerate any untrue projections or stories about us, whether from our internal dialogue or from collective and ancestral/ historical belief systems. How you use these ingredients to build your cake is for you alone to decide. Returning to the hallway of doors, which door is all lit up? Which one feels like a place that is leading you to the next best you? The question then remains, will you walk through it?
