Connecting Yourself to Yourself
The veils are thin and getting thinner as we enter into a season of ever thinning veils. Whether the Equinox ushered in the Autumn or the Spring for you, the next couple months are strongly associated with that which exists beyond. With the Equinox and moving into the Libra New Moon on Sunday, however, we are called to balance, to center ourselves. To enjoy all the elements of the symphony playing together in a beautiful melody. The Libra New Moon falls just days after the Equinox, giving us a moment to center ourselves before we move into the next sequence. There is some really lovely energy being brought through within the astrological blueprint. Let's start to explore.
When I looked at the Libra New Moon chart one of the first aspects that jumped out at me is a lovely Grand Earth Trine. Earth relates to Gaia and also to our Physical Beings. Though some of the players in this trine are not gentle, they are filled with ‘Mama Bear’ fierce love. They will protect you, by any means necessary, even from yourself. Let’s bring them in now - starting with Capricorn, our structures and systems, that which we pursue in life, where we find Pluto and Isa. Two archetypes commonly associated with the masculine. One with heaven the other with hell. These two have been conjunct for a bit and will continue to be so for another couple weeks before Isa’s forward and Pluto’s backwards motion opens an ever widening gap. I spoke a lot about this energy in the Expressions of Divine Love - Energy Update. Over in Taurus, that which we Possess, our Material World and Physicality, we find Kali hanging out in the stellar dimension of Algol and Sedna hanging out in the Pleiades with Alcyone. Sedna is in many ways a sort of female embodiment of Pluto-Persephone with a little Saturn thrown in, she holds the fates of man in her grasp guarding the gates to the beyond. These two very protective female archetypes have been dancing together since the Virgo New Moon; they will continue to get closer and closer until Kali begins to turn around on the 27th of September. They both hold the energy of fierce love; and are each slow-dancing directly atop a very strong fixed star. It feels like they are making a statement about the energies of these particular stellar dimensions, asking us to look at them with a relentless sort of love. To protect the truths they hold, the truths they reveal about us. We will explore this further but let’s bring in the third leg of this triangle first. In the healing and purifying realm of Virgo we find Venus conjunct Mercury. The messenger of the Gods has shuffled backwards into Virgo now after making a brief stay at the Galactic Pole during the Equinox, trading places with the Sun. Is Mercury meeting with Venus to share the divine messages of Love that were received during the Equinox? Messages being transmitted from the Pole of not just our Galaxy but of our entire cosmic neighborhood. I have a vision of the council meeting in Fantasia from the Never Ending Story, all these beings coming together in common cause. To find a cure for the ailing princess and to learn more about this “nothing” which is sweeping through their lands. Mercury has been at this meeting; the Sun was there too; now returning to the sign of the Earth Priestess (Virgo) and Venus with the message, we need Love, Imagination, and Curiosity but mostly to remember that We Are Love, Venus says yes, absolutely.
I read a lovely interpretation of Capricorn energy the other day; not stubbornness, the “patriarchy” , old systems, rules, and fences; but that Capricorn is in pursuit of everyone's Highest Potential. With this in our hearts, let us explore the gifts held as Pluto and Isa pursue the unification of our higher selves and our shadows. Pluto brings up the secrets that we’ve hidden from ourselves, Isa (Yeshua, the Christ Light) brings divine love to them and reminds us that it was all for purpose and on purpose; this is how we learn who we truly are. We forgot so that we could remember again and be a-liven-ed in the process. So that we could strive for our highest potential in each moment knowing that a new highest potential is all-ways available. As Pluto and Isa greet Kali, Algol, Sedna and Alcyone in this gifting trine, they help us see even more deeply these truths that we have hidden from ourselves. Algol, the demon star, being reminded of its true divine nature by the demon slayer (Kali), As we are all also reminded that we are not the stories that have been told about us, that we are so much more. Sedna nearby reminds us that the stories of Alcyone are both Life and Death, that this stellar dimension holds the heights and the depths together, unified, and that each of us can also. This is our Physical Body, Taurus, they are saying that we are all capable of allowing our true nature to shine through. A meditation came through recently which feels like it wants to be shared here. More of an exploration I suppose than a traditional meditation. Begin within your heart center, Mercury conjunct Venus would be a good energy to feel into for this. Finding a way to allow these ponderings to be felt and thought from your heart-mind. Now can you ask yourself What if I do not need to Heal anything? What if I am already Healed? What if I am not some Broken thing that needs to be fixed? What if I am already whole?
We run around in this world constantly told we are broken, fractured, not whole.. That we are sick and need to be healed.. But what if instead of running from this ”cure” to that “cure” the truth is so much more simple. You just need to remember that you already hold all of this potential. That it is not something separate from you that you must obtain..
Mercury and Venus are also exactly Opposite to Neptune in Pisces, further bringing home the need for curiosity, dreams and imagination. Together they are all making a T-Square with Medusa, Magdalena and the Galactic Center. On the Equinox, it was Medusa who danced upon the Galactic Center, as the New Moon peaks she moves to the side. Magdalena is now Center Stage. It is this Priestesses turn to come through the void and into the light, to have her story re-imagined. In this Energy Update, Go Within and Find Your Divinity With Chiron and Mary Magdalene, we explore some of the ways Mary’s story is being retold, this was brought in even further during our Live Circle during the Feast of the Magdalena, this transmission is available in the Member’s Portal. Medusa and Magdalena have some similarities within their stories, both have had their existence distorted or outright denied. Have been “slut-shamed” for their sexual proclivities. Both have been viewed as victims, as powerless, as corrupted, demonic. Both needed to be saved, Medusa by having her snake-ridden head chopped off and Magdalena by having the demons cast out of her.
Let’s take a beat here, feel into the snakes atop the head of Medusa. Then feel into the role of the snake in biblical stories, at least the common era interpretation of them. It is not uncommon for the snake to be cast as a demon or even as the devil. The snake in the Garden of Eden, in particular. So here we have a priestess who is punished for the sin of sex, by having her body transformed and her head covered with snakes. We’ll leave the turning men to stone part on the table for now.. Cut to one of the stories of Mary Magdalene (Priestess Magdalena), a woman who Jesus and his apostles encounter during their pilgrimage, a prostitute or maybe a woman from a wealthy family. She has been possessed by seven demons (the 7 deadly sins). Jesus finds her and casts them out and she begins to follow him. Can we imagine that she had a head full of snakes, perhaps… Now as we remember that snakes have been demonized, much like these two priestesses. We will bring in another energy, Sophia, Wisdom, the asteroid named for her is in Gemini, did I say this was a T-Square, check that, we have a Mutable Grand Cross, this is a reconfiguration of the Mutable Grand Cross we experienced during the Pisces Full Moon, some of the players remain the same. In the Christian Trinity Sophia is represented (hidden) as the “Holy Ghost”. In one story of Sophia, it is she that blesses Adam with the gift of Consciousness and Eve with the gift of Knowledge. In the Gnostic tradition Sophia is the snake that tempted/ gifted Eve with the apple from the Tree of Knowledge. It is this “digression” which leads to the birthing of the Soul, of the Kundalini (there’s that snake again), and the Chakra system. There is so much fruit on this particular tree, so many exploration to take. One story that Medusa shared with me recently is exploring the Kundalini rising, this spinal serpent. It is said that we reach a state of enlightenment when the snake pokes its head through our third eye. She asks, “so what happens when this snake then begins to multiply, to birth new wisdom, and from there ever more wisdom, until you have a whole family of snakes upon your head?'' Can we see why in an era of Power through oppression we had to believe that this kind of knowledge was demonic, dangerous, and unclean. These beings are coming in now to help us remember that this belief system is no longer needed. We are being asked to celebrate and embrace our true creative potential and the wisdom our bodies hold. A Mutable Grand Cross signifies the ending of a chapter, we are being shown that we can close the chapter of Power through Oppression, ushering in the truth that each of us is a wholly sovereign being, a holder of deep wisdom, it is in our beings. That we needn’t exert power over another, nor shall we allow another to exert power over us. We can share in the knowledge that each and every one of us holds the template of divinity within our very DNA.
This is calling in a conjunction that was really most active in the days leading to the Equinox but is still in the mix during the Libra New Moon. Isis, Osiris, Ceres and Horus have all been traveling together in Leo for a little while now. I spoke of this conjunction quite a bit in the Special Equinox Edition of Cosmic Light, they are all in a Trine formation with the Medusa, GC, Magdalena conjunction and are in a T-Square with the Sedna, Alcyone, Kali, Algol Conjunction in Taurus. This one really isn’t a Grand Cross, and the conjunction is getting pretty loose by asteroid standards as the New Moon Peaks. It is active though and if we wanna go wide we could bring in Persephone, also in Leo, she is directly across from Saturn, creating a Fixed Grand Cross of sorts... Back to the Royal conjunction, during this New Moon it is the birth of Horus, the unification of the royal bloodline, you might say; that feels the most potent. It is not about a thing separate from self that you are creating, it is the unification of your light and your shadow, for neither can exist without the other. It is about remembering that all aspects of yourself are this divine love-light.
Before we move on from this energy there is something that wants to come through from Persephone. She is sitting directly across from Saturn in Aquarius and they are both making a near perfect Square to Mars (in its Retro Shadow) in Gemini. This Mars in Gemini is a BIG theme for the rest of the year and will continue to come through in various ways, here it is with another Priestess who is becoming re-empowered after being cast as a victim for a long time. I went into this story during the Re-Uniting Yourself With Persephone and Lilith Energy Update. Mars has been helping us explore our expression of power, to really get into contact with how our thoughts are actions. Saturn is helping us rebuild faulty foundations, sometimes by digging his heels into the dirt, which serves to expose the cracks that were hidden from view. Persephone is bringing her ability to unify the under and upper worlds. She is not afraid of the heavy places, she can hold lightness there. In this archetype we find a nearly perfect template of unification of shadow and light. Not unlike the energies represented by Sedna and Alcyone really.. We are shown that without the winter there can be no Spring. Can we explore the beauty that is the shadow, to remember it is simply another form of light.
We’ve gone pretty deep into this Light Drop without even mentioning the Sun and Moon.. They are knocking on the door now. At 2° Libra, the sign of balance, of our connections and relationships, are the Sun and Moon. They have just moved through the Galactic Pole, sharing a brief encounter with Mercury, and now sit almost exactly across the wheel from Jupiter. They are inviting us to explore all the ways we can be knocked out of alignment in our relationships. To expand the ways in which we can connect to ourselves and others. The symbol for Libra is the scales, there is a seeking for balance, parity and justice. This alignment with Jupiter, moving retrograde through Aries, brings home the message that this journey is about our inner selves, how can we expand the ways we connect with our true self, can we find balance, justice within rather than seeding this authority to something exterior.
This new Moon is an invitation to ask yourself, ourselves collectively, what is my truth. How can I connect ever deeper to myself? Like the practice at the beginning of this update, can I imagine myself as whole unto self? Can I allow myself to be complete? I will leave us here with a question..

As we close it feels important to share that, this remembering of self, is the journey. It doesn’t happen once in a flash and then you're done. It is a constant exploration of finding self and what's true in this moment. Of being open and curious, allowing that it will evolve and change. To allow yourself the Grace and Compassion that you would allow a small child learning to crawl and then walk and then run. To allow for the joy that comes from witnessing each next first step.
